Home Sweet Home

"We are now reaching the last station to this journey, please remember to take all your personal belonging with you. Thank you for travelling with us." I heard as I got up from my seat and grabbed my two bags. Well this was weird. I felt like I hadn't been home in ages but in fact it was only a week ago.

I stepped off of the train as the fresh winter air hit me, I walked out of the station to where I saw a familiar face. I started walking, faster and faster as I reached my mums open arms. I hugged her like I hadn't seen her in years. "Hello stranger." My mum smiled. "Hi mum." I said. "Let's go get in the car and you can tell me everything when we get home." She smiled. I forgot how much I actually missed my mum for the week.

The journey from the train station to my house only lasted 15 minutes and before I knew it we had parked up in the drive way to my house. "Its good to be home." I beamed as I took my bags out of the boot and walked in the front door. "I'm just going to put my bags in my room and then I'll be back down." I said to my mum as I walked up the stairs." Do you want a cuppa?" She asked. "Erm...yes please." I replied. She nodded in response and walked towards the kitchen.

I stepped in my room and dropped my bags on the floor, I pulled all of my clothes out of my bag and hung them all up in the wardrobe. I also hung my guitar up on the hook on the wall and grabbed my phone to text Reece.

To Reece:Hi bibbeh, just got home with my mum. Hope that you have a nice journey, and I'll speak to you later. I'm missing you already, don't forget to text me when you get home, love you :) xx

Within a matter of seconds he had already replied, he must be pretty bored,

From Reece:

Hi Jones, glad you got home ok. It's not a nice journey on the train because you're not sitting next to me :( and I'm missing you too. But I'll see you soon and I'll talk to you later on and don't worry I'll text you when I get home, love you too :) xx

I smiled at his message and walked down stairs, my mum was still in the kitchen. I walked in and sat down at the table. "Sooo..." My mum said. "Soooo...." I copied. "Tell me everything." She said getting excited. "Well me and Tia as you already know went to see Lauren because we won tickets to see the live shows of X Factor. We stayed at the house with Lauren, Fleur, Ben, Andrea and Stereo Kicks. I also may have gotten a boyfriend...but we got told that we weren't allowed to be in relationship because it could affect the bands career and the popularity of the band if their fans knew that we were together...so we are keeping us being together a secret so only you, the rest of Stereo Kicks, Ben, Andrea, Fleur, Lauren and Tia know about us being together and you can't tell anyone, ok?" I explained. "You little rebel but of course I'll keep it a secret, who's the lucky boy from Stereo Kicks then? Is it the one who's your age?" She asked, trying to guess. "Yep, its northern kick, also known as Reece Bibby." I smiled. "He's proper cute as well." My mum said, nugging me. "I know, he's an amazing person as well, he's not like all the other boys." I said.

"Well I'm glad your happy, as long as he doesn't hurt you otherwise he'll have me to deal with." My mum smirked. "And me." I turned around and my dad was stood at the door way. I ran to him and gave him a massive hug. "Hello Millie, you alright?" He asked, smiling. "Hi dad, I'm alright thanks. So I'm guessing you heard all of our conversation then?" I asked. "Yep, as long as your happy then I am too, just be careful." He smiled. I nodded and sipped at my tea, remembering the important news. "Erm...theres also something else." I said nervously. My mum and dad looked at each other and looked back at me, looking worried.. "Well, next year there is the X Factor live tour. When I was with everyone, they all found out that I could sing and play the piano and guitar. This lead to the boys showing Louis Walsh one of my covers on YouTube, which then lead to Louis showing Simon Cowell and he said that if I wanted I was welcome to join all the acts on tour as a support act." I said looking down, but smiling. "Oh my god, are you joking?" My mum said. "No, but I don't have to do it if you don't want me to." I said quickly.

"Of course we want you to do it silly, singing has always been your dream ever since you were little, things got in the way of that a few years ago but now is your chance to follow your dream...the dream that you've always wished becamse reality." My mum smiled. "Thanks mum." I smiled. "I'm so proud of you." My dad said kissing my head. "Thank you." I was so happy. "I've got to go back to mine now, but I'll see you at christmas and new years and before you go on tour, travelling the country." My dad smiled.

Unfortunately, my mum and dad also split up because they grew apart, they were unhappy and decided that it wasn't fair to me or my brother Josh so they decided to go their seperate ways, but I still see my dad quite a few times through the year. Come to think of it, where is Josh? "Mum, where's Josh?" I asked, as my dad closed the door. "He gone to his friends house but he should be back soon." She smiled, and as if on que, there was a knock at the door. "I'll answer it." I said. I opened the door, and there stood Josh, he's grown quiet a lot. He was only 13 but was quite tall for his age. "Hi Josh." I smiled. "Hi Millie." He dropped his bags and gave me a quick hug before shouting hello to my mum and going upstairs to put his bags down.

He came running back down and asked about the last week. I told him about everything to do with Reece and the tour. "Oh, cool so you're going out with Reece from Stereo Kicks but I can't tell anyone yet and you're going to perform around the country with all the contestants from X Factor on the live X Factor tour." He said to clarify. I nodded. "Do me, mum and dad get to come and watch you on tour?" He asked. "Erm...yeah if you get tickets. I should be able to get them for you for free because you are family and I can get you backstage tickets to come and see me and all the other contestants." I smiled.

"I can't wait! Well done Millie, you'll do brilliantly." Josh said smiling before going upstairs into his room. I suddenly got a text from Reece. "Is it Reecey boy?" My mum smirked. "Yes mum, it is." I laughed before going upstairs.

From Reece:

I'm home. Facetime? xx

To Reece:

Ok, see you in a minute xx

I opened up my computer and clickled on facetime as Reece's face showed up on the screen. "Hello beautiful." He smiled. "Hello Reece, did you get home ok?" I asked, like an over protective mum. "Yep, I've got an idea, but you don't have to agree to it..."
