1 MONTH AFTER OUTBREAK
Ronnie Anne Santiago was sitting in her room staring at a picture of Lincoln Loud. She hated that she couldn't talk to him and wished that things could go back to normal. When she could visit friends, enjoy spending time with family and not worrying about getting spotted by those zombies.
"Ronnie Anne...Are you okay?" A voice said before she turned around and spotted her older cousin, Carlota.
"No. I just really miss how things used to be. And Bobby before...." Ronnie Anne said before Carlota hugged her.
"I know. You're not the only one who lost someone due to this...outbreak going around." Carlota said remembering her family. Almost everyone of the Casagrandes were wiped out by the outbreak which left only the two females as the sole survivors.
"Carlota...What are we going to do now that the others are gone?" Ronnie Anne said.
"We'll stay here for a while then move out and head over to Royal Woods. Hopefully the Louds are still there so we can stay with them." Carlota said. She knew that there was nothing left for them in Great Lakes City especially since the rest of their family is no longer with them. It didn't help that more people lived in the City which meant more dangers for the both of them.
"But isn't that dangerous? We don't know if any of those zombies are anywhere near us." Ronnie Anne said.
"We don't have a choice Ronnie. Look...If we stay here, we could only survive for a couple of months or weeks before those things manage to find us. You've seen what happened to the others when we all tried to escape for the Bologna. If any of them comes up here...we're basically screwed." Carlota said.
"Sigh...Fine. Let's hope that we manage to get out of here in one peace without any of those zombies catching one of us." Ronnie Anne said. Carlota just kept hugging her cousin and looked at the window. It was hard for the both of them to move on so quickly, but grieving for their family members won't bring them back.
As she kept looking out the window...
She swore to protect her with all that's got. No matter what the cost may be.
