Chapter ten: reconciliation?

For the next few weeks, Mikado and Merlin ran Alls while Lisa was in bed recovering from the... Incident... Mikado and Merlin had a huge argument about who's fault it was... Merlin saying that it was what he got for keeping a secret and Mikado just standing willing to take the blame because he knew it was truly his party if not completely his own error that caused this disaster to occur, he decided to organise Alls first before he heads back to the Huli clan to apologise not only for the incident but his decision to stay with Alls that he was still going to stand by. And he knew that it would take time to explain the mess to his family and he would most likely be away from his wife for a while... After all the barrier is hard to pass and he didn't want to do that while she was still in this state and she isn't in the best state to go... Well, anywhere... So he couldn't take her, so as much he wanted to stay and be there for his wife and unborn daughter he knew that he had an obligation to apologise for his absence and attitude.

So after he and Merlin had stabilised the country, he went to his wife who was with Oriana and James still in bed. James had also chewed Mikado out which surprised everyone that a usually very gentle dragon literally threw his friend out the window... Poor window... (And Mikado of course...) However, after the window incident, Mikado pulled his wife aside and brought her to their room wanting some privacy:

"I am heading back to the Huli clan, what I did was... As James said 'Absolutely a jackass move'... And I agree, I am not moving back there but I at least need to make things right... Are you okay with it, Liz, I mean is your health stable or do you need me here?"

Lisa smiled kindly:

"Both me and Himemi will be fine... It's your family that I worry about, return safely, my love." Lisa sighed.

"I will try, but I can't assure my father temperament..." Mikado shuddered but put on a brave face for Lisa.

"You better you big baby..." They turned and saw Merlin standing behind them. His firm brown eyes eyed Mikado with wrath, as soon as he had heard what happened from Lisa, he dragged Mikado into a room and you don't wanna know what happened to the poor fox... Trust me...

Mikado nodded his head and jumped out the window before teleporting to the barrier. He would have to apologise to his parents, his sisters, and brothers... Not the mention his nieces and nephews, but he knew he owed them this. He would apologise to them properly... He found it rather ironic, he had always been angry at Sakura for running off after their mother died but now he had done the exact same thing! He was a hypocrite! And he needed to at least try and redeem himself...
