I was woken up by the sun shining onto my face through the half-closed curtain. I have no idea what time it is or how I even got home. I looked to my side to see Chelsea sitting on her phone in bed, she looked like she had hardly slept.

"Morning" She managed to spit out while not taking her eyes off her phone.

"I do not remember getting home last night." I mentally groan as I duck my head under my pillow trying to force the headache to stop.

"I mean you did down a lot of alcohol last night and I am proud." I look over to see Chelsea had the cheekiest grin on her face.

"What time did we go to bed?" I rolled over to look at my phone. 3 new texts from Jason appeared on my screen.

Jason – Hey, I hope you arrived safely J

Jason – Just checking you are all settled in x

Jason – I really miss you, I am so so sorry Lx

"Like 3am, a solid effort from your end if I do say so myself." It's 11am so I guess I still got a decent sleep, but oh my god my mouth was so dry and my head would not stop throbbing.

"I feel like shit." I start to roll out of bed so I could grab a bottle of water I had left in my handbag.

"Welcome to the world of partying and alcohol." I looked over to Chelsea to see she hadn't moved but she looked fine. She looked awake and as if she didn't consume any alcohol last night.

"So what's the plans for today?" She put her phone down and sat up in her bed.

"Nothing, I want to lay in bed and not move all day." I jumped back into bed with the idea that I was not leaving this exact spot for at least two more days.

"No come on, it's such a nice day and we haven't even looked around campus yet. How about we go out and have a look around and find somewhere you can get a greasy hot burger from. That's what usually fixes my hangovers." I groaned at her idea of wanted to go outside, in the sun, surrounded by people.

"But Chelsea I feel like shit. The last thing I want to do is go outside and be surrounded by people."

"Nope, you will be fine after some water, a hot shower and some food." She walked over to my bed and started to put me up by my arms. I was now sitting on the edge of the bed looking at Chelsea rummage through my wardrobe.

"Here you go. Some clean clothes, underwear and your toiletries bag. Now go have a shower." She placed everything in my arms before swinging a towel over my shoulder and opening the door.

"Fine, but know I am not going to like it." I walked out the door and heard Chelsea slam it behind me. I started to walk down the corridor towards the bathroom that was labelled GIRLS.

I walked in to see only a few girls standing by the mirrors brushing their teeth, doing their hair and make-up. I smiled as I walked past to be polite before walking into an empty stall. There was a dedicated dry area for me to undress and put my clothes for after my shower. I turned on the water and let it warm up as I started to undress. The water felt so warm and relaxing on my body. I stood under the shower head and let the water fall down my face, soaking my hair. I don't know how long I stood in the same position simply thinking about nothing other than how good the water felt on my body. I completely zoned out.

I eventually used the soap to clean my body and while I was at it I may as well shave too. Chelsea was right, the shower was already making me feel better. I felt calm and relaxed, not wanting to ever leave. I took my time to wash my hair and clean my entire body before finally turning off the water and stepping into the dry area.
