seungmin called jeongin back after hyunjin left, just as he promised.

"hey jeongin, sorry for having to go earlier." his voice seemed much more relaxed and genuine now.
"oh it's fine! what were you doing?"
"inwas.." he thought for a moment, "i was doing a favor for my roommate."
"oh, okay." he clearly wasn't convinced, but wanted to move on. "you know, I wanted to tell you about how jisung and minho hyung started dating"
"what?!" he yelled, "seriously? seriously?"
"haha~! yeah, now that hannie is out of high school, they're able to date now."
"ah wow~, we need to all have dinner to congratulate them."
"okay~, sounds good." jeongin laughed. "so hyung~, have you had any relationship opportunities?"
"what? what are you talking about?" seungmin immediately got angry.
"oh my god! you totally do! totally!" seungmin would always get angry when he was lying.
"jeongin, shut up. i'll tell you about it when it actually exists." seungmin said, since there really wasn't much seungmin wanted to talk about
"okay~, well i just wanted to tell you about minsung. but call me often, okay?"
"okay," he smiled to himself, "bye jeonginnie."

seungmin smiled as he hung up, a light sigh escaping his lips.

it was grueling. seungmin was like a puppy waiting for his owner to return. he just stared at the door, waiting for it to open.

his phone dinged a good half hour later, he quickly grabbed and checked it. It was a snap from hyunjin.

seungmin smiled down at the photo on his phone.

how the hell does he still look pretty after working out?

he noticed the cute "<3" at the end, which made his heart flutter.

seungmin actually liked putting stickers on his photos, but it was awkward for him to do it with people he wasn't close with.

though it still felt a bit awkward since he types with full, complete grammar. seungmin sighed, checking his snapchat over and over to see if he replied.

he got left on open. but, hyunjin did that often enough, and what would he respond to that anyways? though, seungmin did notice that it said 'Hwang Hyunjin took a screenshot!' in the chat. "huh?!" he immediately started typing.

No i'm not. Shut up.

seungmin put his phone down, telling himself to not look at any other texts that hyunjin sent him. he wasn't wrong though, seungmin's face was flushed. maybe from anger, but most likely from embarrassment.

he sighed, but couldn't help but smile to himself that hyunjin was going to be here soon. suddenly, he got a bit nervous. he got up and looked in the mirror, fixing his hair and adjusting his outfit.

he hopped on his bed and grabbed his laptop, opening it and pretending to type on it. he paused, closing his laptop then grabbing his journal and pretending to write in it.

he stopped and looked around, wondering what he should be 'busy' with when hyunjin comes back.

he practiced looking up, up and up and up. perking his head up with slightly different facial expressions to make sure he didn't make a dumb face when hyunjin entered.

he cleared his throat, embarrassing himself. he sighed, leaning back on his pillows and letting his fall back to look at the ceiling. he closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh.

suddenly, the door swung opened,"i'm here seungminnie~!" he smiled. seungmin jumped, quickly looking back at the door. "oh!" he was surprised, taking the journal off his lap.

"uh, welcome back!" he said warmly, though a smile hadn't been able to form on his face from the surprise. hyunjin smiled at the other's warm words, seungmin didn't usually say stuff like that.

hyunjin pushed his messy hair out of his face, "C'mere seungminnie~~~" he cooed as he tried hugging and pulling him closer. seungmin pressed again his chest, "wait! you're so sweaty!" hyunjin kept trying to hug him, "come on please~~~~, just a little hug~" his eyes were closed and seungmin could tell he was a bit sleepy.

seungmin pressed his lips together, "ugh.." he managed to push him off completely. "take a shower and maybe i'll hug you." seungmin wiped his hands on his pants. hyunjin smiled, "okay! You promise!" he quickly got up, grabbing a towel and leaving the dorm to go to the showers. "no I didn't—!" he tried telling him but hyunjin was out before he could finish.

seungmin put a hand over his chest, taking a deep breath. there was a deep and rapid thumps being felt on his palm. "that.." he mumbled, "..would've been our first hug." he took another deep breath.

"he's gonna make me pass out, jeez." seungmin flopped onto the bed again.
