Percabeth ~ Confess my love ...to my best friend?

Percy?

Annabeth's POV:

I woke up in the infirmary bed, I was dazed and my head felt clouding for once. What happened?  I thought. Then I just remembered. Percy took a knife for me and... he was gone. Forever. I'll never be able to see him again. I never got to tell him how I felt. How much I wanted to be with him. I'll never get that chance. Ever again. I cried till my eyes were puffy. Percy was gone. Forever. I cried even louder. I screamed as loud as my vocal cords can manage. I'm pretty sure the entire camp heard me. But I didn't care. Percy was... gone. For real. 

Someone came to me. It was Thalia. She sat next to me and hugged me, she didn't say anything. That means Percy is gone for good. Only I knew about his Achilles heel, so no one will know why or what happened. "Is... Is Percy gone?" I stammered. "Annie, Kelp head is..." a tear rolled down her cheek. "NO! WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ME? WHY?!" I screamed at her face. We both cried, I screamed every time I think about him. "Y-- you know, Percy actually liked you back." Thalia said. "Wh-- what?" I whispered. "Yeah, he Iris-messaged me right after you did. He asked me what he should buy for you. That was why he went to the mall, he planned to go to the beach with you the other night." She said. Tears filled my eyes. He liked me back too, "Well, I guess it's too late. He's gone for sure. "Can I at least say good bye?" I asked. "Sure." Thalia replied.

As I walked in, I saw Percy laying there on the bed. I tried to hide my tears. "Can I please have a moment with him? Alone?" I sniffed. "Sure thing." Thalia and Will got out of the room. I quickly let all my anger, sadness and guilt out. "Pe- Percy, I- I love you too, more than just a friend."I leaned down, looking at those lips. I've been wanting to kiss them for a long time. Even though it might be disgusting kissing a dead body, but I didn't care. This will be the last time I ever touch him, and see him. When my lips touched his, it taste salty, just like the sea. I think I was kissing him for 30 seconds and... he was kissing me back! 

I was just dreaming, I was hallucinating. I opened my eyes and pinched my arm. It was real! Percy wasn't dead! His lips were gentle and soft, I've never felt so calm in years. We were kissing for about a minute or so when I suddenly remembered he was awake. "Percy! I- we all thought you were dead!" I said crying tears of joy. "Hey wise girl, did you ever think I was going to leave, did you?" He said, smiling. "B- but your Achilles heel! You were suppose to be dead! I thought you were going to die!" I pointed at his back. "Nope, the empousai missed by just an inch, it didn't hit that spot, she went a little bit lower. I guess I just passed out and my heartbeat wasn't stable enough for me to wake up." His goofy smile appeared on his face. "Percy!" I lunged forward to hug him. "I love you Wise girl." He said. "I love you too seaweed brain." I placed my forehead onto his. "S- so were like ... together right? Like did you kiss me because you meant it or..." He said, blushing. "Of course I meant it Seaweed brain! I thought I was kissing a corpse! he kissed me. HE KISSED ME! I was holding back a smile when Thalia rushed in the door. "Who were you talking to Anna-- " we still didn't let go, "Sorry to ruin your moment here, but cousin! Happy to see you alive!" She said before walking out the door. We kissed until be were out of breath. "Wait a moment Annabeth."  he rushed to his jacket and got out a small silver box. "Wise girl, I've been wanting to give you this that night, but you went out with him. So I want to ask you a question. He walked up to me and held my hand, "Will you, Annabeth Chase, be my girlfriend?" He asked. "i didn't reply and went to kiss him again, passionately. Both our lips were red and puffy. "I'd take that as a yes." He smiled. We kissed again while Will burst though the door. 

"Percy! How are you alive?! You need to tell me everything now. I need more information and knowledge on how you survived that!" Will ordered. "Ok Will, but will you please give me a moment with my girlfriend here?" He asked, his sassiness taking over. "Sure thing, and congrats!" He shouted. Soon, we were making out and we both fell on the bed, cuddling each other to sleep.
