Eric and I walk down the tower and meet the crowd. Katie came up to me and smiled. "Cute couple!"she yells. We laugh and walk back to head quarters.
"I have to go make sure the initiates aren't destroying anything"Eric says. He kisses ms and I walk down the tunnel. I hear footsteps and three guys come outta no where.
"Eric! ERIC!"I scream. One of the guys cups his hand over my mouth. They drag me to the chasm and try to push me over. I pull one of the masks off and see Ace(A/N played by Adam Levine). I see Eric come and slam them against the wall.
"You ok?"he asks. I nod and hug him. "You're safe."he whispers. I walk back and head to the dorm. In the morning we do training and by lunch I'm not wearing my own sweater.
"Hey"Katie says.
"Hi."I whisper.
"Is that yours?"
"No"I laugh.
"What happened to you last night?"
"Well, I-"I get cut off.
"Dawn. Can I talk to you?"Ace says. "I'm sorry I don't know what's wrong with me. Can you ever forgive me?"he pleads.
"If you ever come near me again I will kill you. Just stay away from me! You are a coward"I say with tears.
"I can't believe he would do that"Nate says. Two guys go check something out. We follow and see people hoisting Ace out of the chasm. He jumped. I walk away when Eric crossed me.
"Dawn."he says. "It's not your fault"he says.
"I'm never gonna make it. Once they find out, you know, I'll be killed"I say.
"I'm not gonna let that happen"he mummers. I hug him and know he is one of the few people I can trust.
