Nobody's POV
The boys were walking to Jeongin's house in peace while talking about some nonsense that came up and Hyunjin was honestly very happy with the latter.
At Jeongin's house
"So this is my house. Nothing much compared to yours but it's comfy I guess." - Jeognin
"I love it! It's really cozy. I hate our mansion, it's too big and lonely with unloving parents..." - Hyunjin
"Hyunjin, I'm really sorry you have to go through that! You can stay at mine whenever you want to. My mother won't mind because she loves you. You're one of her favorite people" - Jeongin
Jeongin explained, then smiled, while Hyunjin was constantly surprised today. Jeongin's smile was so clear, Hyunjin was smiling like an idiot.
They went to Jeongin's room, a girl's, and Hyunjin liked its design, praising Jeongin for it. Jeongin was now slightly red, but he enjoyed the compliments he had received from the other. He also smiled like an idiot. The boys wrote something about themselves into their now new diary, then drew a large beautiful drawing on a paper, and now they lay together on the bed.
After some time Jeongin's mother returned home seeing another pair of shoes right next to Jeongin's shoes. She cracked a smile before going upstairs, knocking on her son's door and being met by two figures. Her son Jeongin and Hyunjin the popular sweet student from her class.
"Mom, could we talk about something with Hyunjin?" - Jeongin
"Of course, I'm not even surprised you're here Hyunjin!" - Mrs. Yang
"What do you mean?" - Hyunjin
"You've got eyes for each other for quite a while. I first saw it when Jeonginie was there on his first day of school, you were the only one and I mean it, that stared nonstop. He really wanted to be your friend Jeongin. And now come and tell me what's the problem sweetie" - Mrs. Yang
"Okay mom, and did you really want to be my friend so much?"- Jeongin
"Y-yeah" - Hyunjin
They all sat down in Jeongin's room on the bed, Jeongin with Hyunjin on the left side and Mrs. Yang on the other side. Hyunjin was so comfortable spending time with Jeongin and Mrs. Yang that he didn't want to go back to that hell hole.
Jeongin started telling the story Hyunjin told him on the way home. Hyunjin added some details here and there for a complete understanding of why he doesn't want to be there. Mrs. Yang nodded her head on everything and understood that desperate boy wanting a nice home surrounded by loving people. She wanted to give it to him, so she also agreed on Hyunjin staying there. She's going to make sure he has some nice memories with someone he loves and she will take good care of him as if he was her son.
She smiled at the two and hugged both of them. It felt like a complete family since Jeongin's father passed away and they were alone after that. It's like Hyunjin was the missing piece. Her saddened look didn't go unnoticed by the two boys, also hugging the hell out of her.
"What's on your mind mom? you seem a bit down when you hugged us..." - Jeongin
"No, it's nothing bad. I was just thinking I'm glad Hyunjin is here, that he was the missing piece since your father passed away. It feels like a complete family again even though it's not your father, but you get me." - Mrs. Yang
"Yeah I do mom don't worry" - Jeongin
"Also Hyunjin, please, call me Liu or mom instead of Mrs. Yang when we're here or alone at school. Okay?" - Liu
"Okay...mom" - Hyunjin
Hyunjin could no longer hold it. Finally, he could call someone his mother, he never calls his biological mother a mom. He called his parents ma'am and sir.
Liu decided it would be best if they all stayed home for the rest of the week. They cooked dinner together and then went to sleep.
