Victory Ball

-This takes place in an A.U. Where Anakin doesn't turn, they catch Palpatine, the clone wars end with a diplomatic solution, and Satine doesn't die because yay Obitine. Also Liv and Amber (my obitine children O.Cs) exist in this universe and Ahsoka still leaves the order (insert sad face) but she's still in this one shot so yeah.-

Exactly one month ago senator Palpatine had been outed as the elusive Sith Lord, the senate had reached out to the separatists for a peaceful ending to the war, and the peace treaty had been signed. Now the senate is hosting a victory ball for all the soldiers and Jedi who fought side by side to win the war.

It's really over thought Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi, as he surveyed the room. He watched his Padawan/daughter dancing with her sister, soon I'll be able to claim them as my daughters publicly he thought to himself. Changes were coming to the Jedi order. After it was revealed that Anakin was married to Senator Amidala, the Jedi council voted in favour of removing the ban on attachments.

He was so caught up in his thoughts he almost didn't notice a familiar young togrutan girl come through the doors into the ballroom. He looked over at Anakin, who was standing beside him, with one eyebrow raised in a quizzical expression.

"Oh good she came!" Anakin said, "Time to put my plan in motion. You might want to find your girlfriend before someone else does." He finished, before slipping into the crowd and disappearing.

"Anakin she's not my- you know what she kind of is actually." He said shaking is head.

Just as he was trying to figure out what Anakin's plan was, a slow song came on. People started to pair off and step on to the dance floor. A familiar, regal looking, blonde woman came up beside him. He turned and looked at her, taking in her beauty.

"Aren't you going to ask me to dance Master Kenobi?" She asked, holding out her hand for him to take.

"Of course Duchess." He replied, taking her hand and letting her lead him on to the dance floor.

He was still trying to figure out what Anakin had meant by "his plan", when he appeared beside him dancing with his wife. He gave a not so subtle nod with his head over to where Olivia stood alone, looking at something over by the doors. He watched as she slowly made her way over to the doors, and shyly offered her hand to Ahsoka. They made they're way to the dance floor, and started dancing together.

"You invited Ahsoka here to set her up with my daughter? Anakin really." He said, looking condescendingly at the younger man.

"Aw come on! You have to have seen how they look at each other, you cannot be that blind." Anakin replied.

Obi-Wan and the two women just rolled their eyes at him in response.

After the song ended, most of the couples that had paired off for the slow dance joined back together to form bigger groups. Olivia and Ahsoka walked out on to one of the ballrooms many balconies. They looked out onto the city in silence for a while until Ahsoka spoke up.

"So... I heard the attachment ban is being removed from the order" she said.

"Yeah it is, I think my parents might finally get married." The redhead girl replied.

"Would you ever consider dating anyone?" Ahsoka asked.

"Is this your indirect way of asking me out?" Liv replied.

"Possibly" was the other girl's reply.

Liv put her hand on the other girls cheek and pressed their lips together. After she pulled away she asked,

"Does that answer your question?"

"Yeah I think it does" replied Ahsoka.

The two girls smiled at each other, then walked back in to the ballroom holding hands. Across the room a certain Jedi knight noticed the two girls.

"Looks like my work here is done" he said to his wife, who was standing beside him.

Her only response was to slap his arm and roll her eyes.

A/N Idk what this is I just think this is pretty cute. Also I do realize Amber just kinda disappeared halfway through the story, lets just pretend she went and danced with some other senator cuz it was a slow song or smth. Anyway, if anyone was curious the song I picture playing while they dance is "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran, idk why i just think its cute and kinda fits them, ik no one cares but I just felt i needed to share that.
