I was sprawled out on my bed, the cool pillow beneath my head and the thin sheets keeping me cool on a hot summer night. I turned my head slowly over toward the right my digital clock, reading 2:57 AM. I still can't sleep. I pulled myself off of the bed and toward my desk on the other side of room. I took the charger out of my bulky iPhone 8, and scrolled through my notifications. Oh Dream posted something on YouTube, lets see. It was titled "A Surprise For You All". "That'll be interesting." I thought to myself. I watched the video, and they basically explained that they would be choosing a random subscriber if you made a comment, and if you were picked you would get to play in a server with the dream team. I immediately ran to the comments to post mine. "I know this'll probably get lost in the sea of comments, but I at least hope it gets read!" I typed as quickly as I could.
2 Weeks Later-
I was sitting at my PC, playing some Among Us, and listening to Wilbur's stream in the background. Wilbur began to speak about something I had almost forgotten about. "Oh yeah, also if any of you guys entered that kind of giveaway thing where you get to play on a server with Dream, apparently he announced the winner of that today." My heart skipped a beat. I abandoned my impostor round, silently apologizing to my fellow impostor for leaving them. I snatched my phone from the desk, and immediately went into youtube. I went into the notifications, and saw something that would be burning in the back of my mind for eternity. "Dream responded to your comment- Congrats! You're the winner of this contest! DM me on twitter and I'll send you the IP for the server!" It read. My heart beating a thousand times a minute, I opened twitter on my PC, closing out Wilbur's stream in the process. I DM'ed Dream's second account, not expecting a quick response, but a few minutes later, I heard the ping of a twitter notification.
