Miguel (let me help!)

I sit there watching as Miguel lay there dying tears rolling down my cheeks. He was laying in the hospital bed because of Sam she had kissed him and now he was dying in front of me and all i could do was sit there and hold onto his hand. I can hear his mothers cries outside the door and all i can do is cry more.
"Come on mig, your strong you can fight this." I whisper the door opens and his mum sits nexts to me.
"Hey darling, how are you!" She whispers as she sits she puts her hand in my free one so together we can support her son.
" he really loved you. He always spoke about you and when you were younger and you both used to play out together." His mother cried thinking about her son. My voice cracked as i too reminisced on my lovely memories of Miguel.
" i loved him too you know, i loved spending time with him and even when our families moved here together he stuck by me, he could have left me and been with the popular kids. He was such a good man and he didn't deserve this." I cried hugging his mum closely i couldn't hold in the tears anymore. He was the love of my life but he'd never know because every time i wanted to talk to him about how i felt he was with a girl first it was Sam and then tori and now his laying here in a coma. The boy i loved was slowly being ripped away from me and i was doing nothing.
" sweet heart we cant sit here all nigh.." carmen started
" i cant leave him, you can go but if its all the same I'm going to stay." I stutter out.
"Ok dear I'm going to go get a coffee. Do you want anything?" She smiled sadly towards me. I shook my head turning back to Miguel.
Hearing the door close i squeeze Miguel's hand tighter, this is the only time i will get to tell him and i wont risk not being able to tell him.
" hey miggy. So i know you wont be able to hear this and if you do you might never get to tell me how you feel, but i guess here goes nothing. I love you Miguel, i don't mean in a friendly way i mean i really love you. You've always been so caring and loving and i know you've been out with many girls but I've always thought we'd make a great couple. Urg i don't know mig i just wanted to say i love you and i will stay here till you wake up and when you do if you don't love me it wont matter because i will still have you." Just as i finish my little rant his mum walks in coffee in hand.
"How are you dear?" She ask but i couldn't answer i would never been ok until Miguel was back to normal.
" he will be ok wont he?" I ask knowing that neither of us really had the answer. Just as she went to reply there was a small whisper.
"Y/N" the breathy voice sounded like it was coming from Miguel, however it must have been in my mind as i knew he was going and my mind clearly didn't want him to leave with out hearing his voice. But then it came again another breathy sign my name left Miguel's lips again. This time his mother stoped talking she looked at me and she looked at him and smiled squeezing his hand and speaking to him.
"Come on Miguel you can do it just open your eyes." We speak together.
" y/n i.." he whispers and i feel my self cry as my best friend tried to tell me something.
" I'm here Miguel i told you i would be here for you and I'm not going anywhere." I tell him squeezing his hand hoping he'd speak again hoping he'd open his beautiful eyes and smile at me so i could tell him everything is ok.
" i love you!" Was all he said before he opened his eyes.
"  i love you too but you need to rest ok, but i will be here." I say his mum looking at the two of us before rushing out and getting the doctors.
" You know i always thought you'd never love me the way i love you, but you helped me out of this Y/N. And when i get out of here I'd like to take you on a date." He smiled i gently comb his fluffy hair out of his bruised face.
"Of course you would, i cant wait for our date but until then we will have a few hospital dates where you focus on getting better. Ok ?" I smile at Miguel laughing and his cute smile i slowly lean in a kiss his head. Before telling him i needed to go home and shower and I'd be back soon.
" wait Y/n you missed?" He whined.
" what do you mean missed ?' I giggle slightly confused.
" my mouth you total mong !" He chuckled.
And i walked back over leaning down and kissing his lips lightly.
"See you later Miguel!"
