God please please make it stop, if she says one more word I'm going to kill myself.

"You got all that right. So I'll meet you here again the day after tomorrow okay" Nicole Scott said  with a broad smile on her face and her blonde hair in her face.

She was about to touch me but I shrugged giving the same message I've been sending for the past two weeks " I don't want to have anything to do with you" but she just doesn't get it.
How can someone be so stupid.

Well it is about ninty-eight percent my fault.

She stood up and left, leaving me alone in the library with the Liberian.

I sighed carrying my bags, I began running home cause my work shift was by 3pm so I had just 35 minutes to get home, change and get to work.

I slipped into my room, I couldn't let my mum see me dressed like this, she'd have my eight year old brothers kill me.

"Woah woah woah hold on sweetheart, why the rush?" my dad held my hand as I was about leaving for work.

"I'm late for work dad and I have less than five minutes to reach and your taking like a whole one" I told him hastily.

He let go of my hand " should i drop you off"

"No thanks. Love you" I began running on the streets. I didn't have time to wait for the next bus to come around and I'll still get there late. Plus it's just my first week.

What a wonderful first impression.

I got to the park where i work there fifteen minutes past three. I rushed to the ferris wheel and other play rides that I was supposed to manage but I found someone else at my post. And I could bet I had never seen him work here before.

"Hi, umm this is my shift, would you mind" I told him from his back.

"Oh sorry to disturb, the manager actually put me here" he turned.

Woahhhhhhhh that's that's

"Saint?" I mistakenly blurted out.

Oh I wasn't supposed to know that.

His face revealed his surprise fully.

"I know you?" He rose a brow.

Oh shit.

The fuck was I thinking when I called his name?.

"Umm no actually, I just..." I shrugged he rose his two brows waiting for an explanation.

"I ..I I attended the match at the beginning of the semester at Clevish High and half the crowd was yelling your name" I lied.

Its actually true if you reason it my way after all I did attend the match but that's not how I know him. At all.

"Oh I didn't realise you go to my school"he replied.

Worse worse worse.

" Um I don't, i just happened to attend the match with a friend. " and the lies continue.

"Oh okay. I didn't realise people keep my name in mind but yeah we're all good" he smiled.

I'm sure he now thought I was one of those girls that live and breath for him. He was the lead player in our schools basketball team but not the captain. I heard he doesn't fancy being captain. But he can't know I go there if not I'm toast.

"So what school do you attend exactly" he began organizing the kids into the ferris wheel for their ride.

I can't even lie about school he probably knows every school in town and a whole lotta people in them as well. He'd know I lied.

"I" I dragged it." I dropped out"

WHAT!!! How did that leave my mouth. Ughhh. Of all things to say.

My life is so messed up!

"Miss Snow!"
I knew my managers voice any where. I'm in deep trouble. I turned around to face the well rounded bald man. He looked like he was in his late forties.

"Where were you by three?" He asked sternly.

I could feel the lump in my throat, I was so going to lose my job.

"I..." I started.

"She was by the slides, when I came here she came up to meet me once she saw me and even asked what I was doing at her post, that's some devotion." Saint covered up.

Mr Kols eyes were fixed on me throughout. Is this how judgement day feels?  Well its not a nice feeling.

"You've been on this job for five days now and you've come late four days in a row your fifth time you'll be leaving with a sack letter" he said sternly.

I gulped.

"Understood?"

"Yes Mr Kols" he headed back to his office.

"You've come late on all your workdays since you started here" he snickered. I could almost hear the laughter in his voice.

"I cant help it my schedules tight"

"For a dropout what exactly do you do all day aside work" the children were already moving by now, our job was to supervise them and the speed limit and stop the wheel when their times up.

"I do....stuff"I definitely sounded nervous

"Okay, I won't push it"
"I didn't get your name though"

"Its Valerian" I couldn't lie about my name. I practically work with him now.

" So its Valerian Snow then"

"Exactly".

" Nice name"

"Thanks" I smiled

Plus there's no way he even knows I exist outside this park. I'm the last person he'll pay attention to at school.

" Valerian Snow" he murmured twice to himself.

He may not be so bad to work with after all.

"Wait" he stopped in his tracks. "I think I know you".

Oh God.
