When I opened the door to the house a note fell. I picked it up and saw it was from Laine's mom.

'There's a game today so I went to go watch Laine cheer. Feel free to come if you would like after all it's a school game.' -Grace

I completely forgot that was today. Knowing Laine was passionate about cheering I decided to go in support.

I grabbed my hoodie and started walking to the school's field. I hadn't realized how dark it had gotten already. It was quite cold out too.

When I got to the field I heard a crowd of people screaming and talking. I eyed an empty spot near the field and stood there.

A few minutes later Laine came out along with the other cheerleaders. She looked drop-dead gorgeous. All I could focus on was her voice which stood out to me from the others.

She was cheering her heart out and when she turned she saw me and smiled. I smiled back at her excitement when spotting me. When she had finished she immediately rushed over to me.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

I smiled. "Just thought I'd come to see you work your magic."

"Well, how'd you like it?"

"You were amazing both in performance and looks." I winked playfully.

I noticed her cheeks turn red.

"What a charmer." She said with a playful roll of her eyes.

Before I could reply I noticed she was slightly hugging herself trying not to look cold.

"Here." I took off my hoodie and handed it to her.

"Oh, it's okay! I don't want you to be cold." The concerned look on her face was adorable I couldn't help but smile.

"I'm fine," I said while putting my giddier over her head.

She continued to put it on herself sighing in contentment at the warmth.

"Thank you."

"Of course. What kind of monster would I be if I let you freeze?" I joked.

She laughed in response.

I took a seat on the grass and motioned for her to sit next to me. She instead sat on my lap looking at the field. I felt heat rise to my cheeks.

"The grass is too cold." She said simply.

I could tell she was smiling even though I couldn't see her face.

"Fine by me," I said putting my arms around her and placing my chin on her shoulder.

We sat like that throughout the game. She cheered a couple more times but quickly returned to her position on my lap afterward. It wasn't long before the game was over.

"Alright, we should head home now," I said as I tapped her thigh with my hand signaling her to get up.

When she didn't move I looked at her seeing she was fast asleep.

"Lovely. You so owe me after this one."

I somehow managed to get her onto my back. She's lucky I'm a werewolf and able to do this with ease.

I walked only a few steps when she mumbled softly. "Wait... My clothes are in the locker room."

"You can get them later," I said continuing to walk.

"No!" She whined. "My phone is in there and it's Friday."

"Fine." I placed her down on the bleachers.
