Somewhere in the middle of nowhere
A little boy woke up with no memory, he had yellow golden hair and eyes of the harsh sun.
He was covered in filth, dirty, scratches, and had cuts. The goddess hold him in her arms and left the broken shack with flowers trailing at her feet.
"Don't worry my child, you will be named after the god of electricity and I the goddess nature, your name shall be zenitsu. You will become strong under my protection. You will be the next nature" she said while zenitsu is cuddling her, he's shivering, he's cold of the wind pricking his fagile skin.
"Soon I will no longer be here, I will turn into a sakura tree, and will forever not protect my children and animals, that's why I choose you" she kissed zenitsu's forehead and began walking Into the deep forest, escaping from the broken shack now miles away from them now.

They now arrived at huge tree.
Zenitsu looked up and was amazed to see animals look down and the little boy and goddess.
"Kanae, tell me, why choose this boy for your generation and future" one of them stated.
The dragon above was the one speaking, there was 9 of them
A dragon that has half his face burnt off, a fire fox, a snake with eyes like shining eyes like marbles both different colors, a snow fur wolf, a black crow, a otter that has silky fur, a pink fluffy rabbit, a grizzly bear as big as a mountain, and a owl with platinum feathers.
All looking down at him and kanae with serious eyes.
The crow spoke " why didn't you pick your little sister, she would be upset" she answers with honesty " yes I understand your concern, but she will be working under mitsuri, it was her decision to work with someone her age" both mitsuri and her little sister are 15, and mitsuri was capable to be a goddess at a young age.
The dragon spoke once again and only this once " please continue your reason kanae"
"Yes, I know my passing is soon, while I was out on my last missions I was looking for others that are capable for my role, until I found a special being, this boy wasn't spending his happiness to the fullest. I could hear him pray to me. it reminded me of myself when I was human. Zenitsu is my son now, under my protection he will become mother nature 'till my soul turns into a sakura tree, so will you agree on my pick?" She hugged zenitsu so hard he hugged back.
The god's were talking to each other and decided....

Zenitsu is now the future nature. Kanae was crying with joy and happiness "thank you so much~" her voice weak, there she was filled with so much joy.
"Please zenitsu, you may call my mommy and mother once again"
"Yes m-mommy" the little boy hugged her tight
The others were looking in aww, mitsuri was crying happy tears.
Now after they agreed, they left to their villages and shinobu met her neice, they spend time together mostly while kanae was out fighting wars until they had to do something kanae must accept.

"I'll miss you mother... I will promise to pray to you everyday" zenitsu, now 14, is crying to his mother. Today is their last day together.
"I still remember when you were 5, when I first found you, my son-" she lifted her son's cheek and kissed it ,leaving a butter fly mark " even though my soul will turn into a tree I will never forget you" the pressed their foreheads together and chanted a spell that will never break their bond "Doko made ikanakute mo, kokoro ni sodattakizuna wa eien ni nokoru, Sayōnara o iu koto wa watashitachi no kotoba de eien ni aisatsu ni narudeshou. Tebanasu koto wa arimasen, yamagilatto" "yamagi latto" is what goddess say to keep it a promise, gods say it as "yalago ayoi" (a/n this is a language I made up for this story ,I was very bored)
"Good bye mother..." Zenitsu started sobbing uncontrollably "good bye my golden daisy," she kissed him another time on the forehead and stained her butterfly symbol " please remember this moment, this symbol will forever stay on your forehead, to protect you from danger, now I must go.." she slowly desolved into butterflies while her tears turned Into pink bubbles. Zenitsu watched the butterflies form Into a giant sakura tree, the butterflies around him fly and land on the stems and form petals.
The moon shined as a crystal ball. He's been there all day until night.
When he looked up he noticed the beautiful night sky and sat down next to his mother's tree.
"Good night mother..." He slowly close his eyes and went to sleep.
Kanae woke from her tree and looked at zenitsu, she sat next to him and began stroking his hair, reminding her of the raining days, were shinobu and zenitsu where by the fire, kanae stroking zenitsu's hair and shinobu joking with kanae.
She sighed and fell asleep on zenitsu's head. "Goodnight my son"
The stars glow up in the night sky, the stars will forever sing lullabies
