"Hey."

"Why are you here?"

"Umm.. it's raining and the closest place I know someone is here."

"Your ex?"

"Yea? And?"

"No. Please go. I have work to do."

"Yuri, wait. Before you close the door."

"What is it, Yena. I'm closing the door in 30 seconds, better make it quick."

"Ok so, I'm sorry."

"What are you on about? We're done. You're the one who ruined me."

"I know.. I didn't mean to.."

Yena's eyes were sulking and her shoulders were sinking. She was looking into Yuri's round eyes in wanting condone. It was something so major and she knew she did it all wrong.

"Well.. I can't do anything for that. It's my right to not let you in. Just go somewhere else."

"Where?!"

Yena shouted into the small gap between the door before it shuts completely. She starred into the pouring streets soaked in grey water before she took a sigh. It was a shallow flood, but no car would possibly be passing around now. It was 2 AM.

Yena had no choice but to take out her dying phone and texted someone. She didn't expect an answer back of course, she just said herself that she had work to do.

"Please?"

"Oh what do you want."
"Wait don't tell me you're still.."

"Sadly."
"I have nowhere to go ;-;"

Yuri puts her pen down, then she picks up her phone and saw the annoying texts from Yena, but she quickly answered them in hope of getting rid of Yena. But she was wrong.

After she saw the last sentence Yena send, her heart that wad so cold, soften for a second. She peeked through the peephole to see a small figure curled up in front of her doorstep. She could hear the harsh rain from outside, the water were rushing through the empty streets. She knew to let Yena in. Just for this time only.

"Oh, really?"

"Well.. I can't let someone sit in the cold can I?"

"Thank you.. Yuri."

Yuri didn't answer Yena back, she didn't ask for the express of gratitude. She wanted this to be the last time. For this cycle to end.

Yuri went and sat back down at her table, she continued to pick her pen up and do small scribbles switching with looking to the thick never ending text book.

"I see, you working hard as always."

"Yeah, unlike someone. Who goes out drinking every day and gets stuck in the rain."

Yena rolled her eyes, she didn't want to argue with Yuri here, because if she does, she can get kicked out of this warm place at any time.

It wasn't the first time Yena had spent the night here, in Yuri's small flat. She quite liked it actually, she always came here back in the days, back when they were still together.
