Let's Just Say I Like You

Jack's POV

I walked to the principal's office. I entered and took a seat. "Jack. I have been informed by a student that you have abused a student? Am I right?" she said seriously "Well I would call it protecting a friend." I replied. I started to get up, but then she pushed me back in my seat. "Well that is not what I was told by Ms. Madison." Yeah, yeah, yeah Madison this or that."I'm afraid to say this. But you are expelled!" WHAT?! I got out of my seat and rushed back to the house. I ran upstairs and laid down on my bed.I had to tell Elsa when she came back to the house. I took a nap for I'd say 10 minutes?

10 Minutes After...

Elsa's POV

I rushed upsatairs to the bedroom. 'I saw that Jack was asleep so I jumped on him. "Ahh!" he screamed. "Don't worry. It's just me Jack!" I laughed while talking. I got off him and sat down on my bed. "Hey so what happened between you and Laird?" I asked "Nothing.'' He replied. I asked him to help Trudy and I make dinner. "Nah!" he told me. I replied back that we were going to make brownies for dessert. We both raced down to the kitchen. "Hi Trudy!" we both said. She told us to make the brownies while she made the pasta. I told Jack to get the ingredients. We made cheesecake brownies that my mother used to teach me.

Cheesecake Brownies

Ingredients

Cooking spray
Cheesecake topping:
8 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel)
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
Brownie Layer:
2 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
Pinch cayenne pepper
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup lowfat buttermilk
2 large egg whites
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Position the rack in the lower third of the oven and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Line an 8 by 8-inch baking pan with foil so it hangs over the edges by about 1-inch. Spray with cooking spray.

Cheesecake topping: In a medium bowl and using an electric mixer at medium speed, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute. Beat in the sugar and the vanilla until very smooth, 1 to 2 minutes. Beat in the egg until well blended. Set aside.

Brownie layer: Put the chocolate, butter, and oil in a small microwave-safe bowl and heat at 75 percent power for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave again until melted and smooth, about 30 seconds longer. (Alternatively, put the chocolate, butter, and oil in a small heatproof bowl. Bring a small saucepan filled with 1 inch or so of water to a very slow simmer; set the bowl over, not touching, the water, and stir occasionally, until melted and smooth.)

Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and cayenne in a medium bowl.

Combine the brown sugar and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Whisk in the buttermilk, egg whites, and vanilla. Add the chocolate mixture and whisk vigorously until fully incorporated and the batter is thick and glossy. Gradually add the flour mixture and stir just until it disappears.

Reserve 1/2 cup brownie batter and set aside. Scrape the remaining brownie batter into the prepared pan. Pour the cheesecake mixture evenly over top. Drop the reserved brownie batter in large dollops over the topping. Draw the handle of a wooden spoon through the two batters to create a swirled effect.

Bake until the top is just set, 40 to 45 minutes. Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Lift brownies out of the pan by the foil and peel off the foil. Spray a knife with cooking spray and cut into 2-inch squares.

After we were done people came rushing to the dessert. We told them to eat the pasta first. After we finished dinner we had dessert.

Jack's POV

We went back to our rooms. Once Elsa and I went inside the room we played with Olaf and Blitz. We laughed and played almost all night long. I had to tell her now. We stopped playing with Olaf and Blitz.

"Hey Elsa?" I asked her "Yeah?" come on Jack you can do this! "Well I like you.". She looked frozen like she just got stabbed. "Well?! Come on Elsa I told you I like you!" come on! Suddenly she kissed me! "I like you to." she replied. We slept  together with her head on my chest. I had to do something. Her head was off my chest so I packed my bags. I forgot about something. I had to write a letter. I went downstairs to see Trudy and ask her to help me. "Hey Trudy." I said. She said hi back. "I need you to help me with writing a letter." I sat down "Well I don't know anything about letters, but I do know to make it with love." she said. I started writing down ideas. Then I got it. I finished it. I exited the house. I was sure going to miss this place. I saw the cab and went inside. I was going to miss this place. I was going to miss Elsa the most.
