Rows of houses could be seen as the wooden gates swung open. The wooden walls of houses rose above the ground, each roof different colors. Beautiful women like Lilly wandered around, walking across paths, The grey stone broken up by the green of intruding moss and grass. In the middle of the village, I saw a beautiful waterfall, the water flowing into a glass-like river.

Bridges of stone and moss reached across the river, creating paths for the village people. In the distance there were mountains, every peak rising above the clouds. The river of glass flowed throughout the entire village, before leading into the moat of an enchantingly sinister castle.

The tall towers of stone rose high above the village, the brick base of the castle holding them up. Red and blue flags swayed in the wind as I entered the village, following lily through the winding paths.

White clouds drifted across the sky, the sun shining through the canopy. Two grand oaks intertwined to create a grand arch at the other side of the gate. I had just walked through the arch when I was ambushed by two girls.

A blonde girl jumped onto me, clinging to my shoulder. I smiled, looking down into her blue eyes. Her red dress twirled out like a blooming flower, white glitter shimmering in the light. The girl's white headband sat perfectly on her blonde hair.

"HIiiiiii!!" She squealed. "I'm Rose. Welcome to the village. You'll love it here."

"Hello, Rose." I nodded. "I'm-"

"Cole. I know. You're a hero. I can't believe I'm talking to a god. Oh my god." rose let go of my arm before she started jumping up and down, clapping her hands excitedly.

"I'm not a god. Why does everyone think that?" I huffed in annoyance.

"Josinik said you were a god. So stop denying it. The stump is never wrong." the other girl said. I turned my head towards the taller girl. I had forgotten she was there, she had been so quiet compared to Rose.

"Who's Josinik?" I asked. Rose's companion turned to me, her yellow dress swaying. As she stared at me her golden-yellow eyes squinted in a glare.

"You are not from here. Josinik is a ruler. You will meet him later."

"O-ok" I stared at the girl. Her brown hair flowed down her shoulders, blonde highlights like sun rays through the river of darkness.

"I'm May-Sun by the way. Welcome to the village." Her glare softened and she smiled at me. I smiled back.

"Hello, May-Sun," I replied. "I'm happy to meet you. Both of you" I looked back at Rose, who smiled at me.

"Cole, be careful of them. They're flowers. Their main power is manipulation." Naro whispered in my ear.

"I'll be fine," I whispered back. "They're harmless."

"Don't believe that Cole." Naro urged. "They're a lot more dangerous than they seem. Oak warned you about them didn't he?"

"That's true," I mumbled. My mind seemed to clear a bit like the sun shining through on a cloudy day before fogging over once more. "But he was probably being overly cautious. Hey Lily?"

"Yes, Cole?" Lily smiled as I turned to her.

"Tell me more about Josinik. Why does he think I'm a god?" I asked the woman.

"Well, he has a theory. You see, Josinik thinks you're the son of our very own Sky God. You look very similar, but the only thing that doesn't fit is the timeline."

I was so caught up in listening to Lily I failed to notice Naro flying off my shoulder towards a werewolf looking creature. I vaguely heard a deep voice say my name, along with a few other things
