"Oh my Gods Piper I'm so sorry."

Annabeth walked over to her bed and sat down, patting the area next to her as a gesture to Piper to sit next to her. Piper shuffled over and plopped down on her bed. The strong appearance she first showed when Annabeth first got to camp was gone. Now, she looked like she hadn't slept well in days.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Asked Annabeth.

"No. Not now at least."

The two girls sat in silence for a moment before Annabeth felt a pressure on her shoulder. Looking over, she saw that Piper had leaned over to use her as a head rest. Annabeth smiled slightly and wrapped her arm around the other girl's shoulders, rubbing her arm in comfort.

"Piper?"

"Hm?"

"Why didn't you tell me that Jason cheated on you?"

Piper sighed. "Percy always seemed so happy when he can back from visiting you I just didn't want to bum you out or anything."

"Piper you're my best friend you can always tell me anything. If I'm being honest, Percy and I haven't been doing so hot. He comes to visit every other week so it's like he practically lives with me. The whole reason I went to college in the first place was to get away, start fresh, clean slate. Obviously I'll always love him but I don't know maybe we need a break." Annabeth replied. She looked over and stormy grey eyes locked with kaleidoscope ones.

"I think that's a good idea." Piper said with a small grin. "Besides, you guys always manage to figure it out I'm sure you'll be able to figure this out too."

Annabeth smiled at her friend. "Thanks Pipes. Let me know when you're ready to talk about Jason, it's not gonna be fun but you need to talk about it."

Piper leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Annabeth's neck in a hug, surprising her. Annabeth's cheeks reddened and she felt Piper's hot breath against her neck and closing her eyes, she unconsciously moved her head to give Piper more access to her pulse spot as she returned the hug.

"Thanks Annabeth."
