Countryhumans Headcanons (Needs updating)

Countryhumans

First things first, they're in the future. Decades into the future to be specific. I don't feel like having all these futuristic technologies, though, so they still have and use stuff we have. The year is 2085

WW3 happened. It started in 2030 and ended in 2038. Still deciding who's on what side and who won

All countries have their anthems memorized (From birth, or if it's changed then they learn and immediately memorize it again)

Their height is what I decide it to be, it's not related to their actual land mass

When a country is feeling a lot of a certain emotion then they will defect to their native language without realizing

Countries can die, but there is a way to bring them back. Their cities/states need to be collected and taken into an isolated room, where they then hold hands and sing the country's full anthem for the country to appear. This will not work if at least one city/state doesn't want to do it/is forced to do it

Countryhumans live in another Earth. Said Earth has one large island where everything and everyone lives (though there are a lot of smaller ones sprinkled around). Countries can travel from their Earth to normal Earth by traveling on a plane, ship, train, ect. There's like an invisible portal for them to do so that can only be accessed by traveling through the stuff above. There's a flash of white and then they're in regular Earth
~Personifications call their earth "Countryhuman Earth" and regular earth "Human Earth"

Humans know of Countryhuman existence, and often times the people of a country listen to the Countryhuman instead of the government

Countryhumans don't really represent the government or people of their country, they're their own entity

During meetings between leaders where Countryhumans attend, countries sit next to their leader/stand beside them

Countryhumans spend more time in the Countryhuman Earth than regular Earth

Countries have the full right to hate or dislike the leader of their country

Two countries can hate each other but be allies, and two countries can like each other but the governments be enemies

All countries are at least decent at singing

No, just because America's states are her kids doesn't mean all the other country's states/provinces/regions are their kids

Territories have a choice of whether or not they want to live with the country they belong to. If they choose not to, they'll have to fly the country's flag on their front lawn. However, no territory lives with the country they belong to right now. Or ever. (I guess Greenland counts, if he does then he's the only territory who lives with their country)

Countries can go without food for 5 months, while they can go without water for 3 months

The countries get nervous and/or scared when Soviet's sick or getting sick

Periods don't exist

Governments can't control a countryhuman, and if they try, the entire UN will drop kick them into oblivion

Theoretically, a countryhuman has more say in government desicions, though they choose not to intervene most of the time
~Sometimes, if the government is corrupt enough, they won't listen to the countryhuman if they intervene, and this usually leads to a revolution or civil war led by said countryhuman

Countryhumans marrying or being in a relationship with a human is forbidden. Not like they'd want to, anyway, since countryhumans view their people as their children in a way

Most former countries are alive (did this so there's not so many orphans and because ex-countries are cool :>)

If a country is a superpower, it doesn't matter to them as a countryhuman. They are affected by things the same way as everyone else (YOU AIN'T SPECIAL >:( )

Every social media app that humans use, there's a countryhumans version of it. The countryhumans version is basically just the app, except only countryhumans and organisations can use it, no humans have access to it; not even people in the highest of power in the world

Despite having their own versions of apps, CHs still use the normal versions to interact with humans (they mostly meme-). In some countries it is illegal to have an account pretending to be a countryhuman, while in others it's heavily looked down upon. Countryhumans are also verified with their own special symbol on all apps
~In a country where it's illegal to pretend to be a CH online, when caught the person will be either heavily fined or jailed

Countryhumans with animal parts are called nekos, despite nekos typically meaning a person with cat parts
(If you know a word that refers to a wide range of people with animal parts please tell me, calling them nekos feels wrong in a way-)

There's a show where a bunch of humans from different countries dress up and act as their countryhuman and essentially poke fun at the shenanigans the countryhumans and organisations do. There's no real main character or plot as every episode focuses on a different group. It's not well known and only five countries actually watch it: North Korea, Egypt, Palestine, Mexico, and Serbia. North is trying to get South Korea and China into watching it
~Not only do not many countries watch it, but it's pretty underrated with humans as well, though it's gaining a lot of popularity

Up until 1985, the amount of food a countryhuman had was affected by the amount of food their people and government had

Prior to the 20th century, countryhumans didn't have many powers or rights pertaining to handling their government or foreign affairs. In the middle 19th century they kinda began to get more rights but it wasn't much. Really, all they could do was influence their people, but due to being advised by their government to follow them didn't, or if they did it was still difficult since humans only wanted to hear what the government said. Female countryhumans had an especially hard time with this. The 20th century is when the surge in countryhuman rights and power came.

Personifications don't have to pay to visit places like zoos, national parks, exhibits, ect.. However, countries often pay, anyway

Countries with "and" in their name are typically two beings who are siblings
Ex. Saint Kitts and Nevis. Kitts and Nevis are two different people
~Also applies to countries with dashes in their name like Bosnia and Herezegovina
