A warrior made his way through the rugged village path, approaching the inn up ahead. He wore a green gi and a hood that covered his face, leaving his intimidating eyes to glare freely at the onlookers. His attire was torn and dirty in many places but that showed nothing but the experience of this valiant fighter. He had a katana and shurikens held in place by the leather belt strapped to his chest.
He walked with his back straight and head held high, sending off such intimidating vibes that the evil-minded people pushed one another in order to scramble out of his path, fearfully avoiding being the victims of his wrath.
Legends tell of a legendary warrior whose ninja skills were the stuff of legend. He travelled the land in search of worthy foes.
The warrior threw open the inn's oak door, his tall shadow falling on the square of light in front of him. The inside of the tavern was dark and smelled of smoke. Large thugs sat around at nearly every table. Some punched the waiters and the innkeeper while some forcefully took pouches of money from the civil customers. However, they all stopped what they were doing as the silent warrior strided past them, not stopping to look at anyone.
He ordered a bowl of dumplings which was served to him in a matter of minutes. He kicked out a chair and sat down on it, picking up the chopsticks. He quietly ate his meal, ignoring all the other occupants of the room — that is until a few of the overlarge thugs crowded around his table, looking down at him with contempt.
"I see you like to chew," spat out the leader of the group, "maybe you should chew . . . on my fist!" With this, the beefy man brought down his huge fist on the warrior's table, making the bowl of dumplings and the other utensils jump. But the green clad fighter didn't flinch. He silently chewed on the morsel in his mouth, raising a gloved finger to shush the impatient thugs.
The warrior said nothing for his mouth was full. Then he swallowed and then he spoke:
"Enough talk! Let's fight!"
In a flash of lightning, the warrior got up, kicking the table in the process causing the thugs to fall back.
"Shashabooey!" He exclaimed dramatically, throwing back his hood, revealing a mop of golden hair which shone in the rays of the afternoon sun. Two of the thugs advanced on him. The warrior aimed a kick at the midriff of one, sending him crashing into the wall ahead. He picked up the second one and flipped him backwards.
He was so deadly in fact that his enemies would go blind from overexposure to pure awesomeness!
"My eyes!" Screamed the thug which he had flipped, waving his hands around due to his eyes losing their ability to see. "He's too awesome!" Yelled another blind thug.
"And attractive," a woman said, batting her eyelashes at the green suited warrior as she noticed his handsome features.
The innkeeper ran forward and gratefully shook the ninja's hand. "How can we ever repay you?"
"There is no charge for awesomeness," he replied, adjusting his gloves and putting on his hood. "Or attractiveness," he added to which a woman swooned.
The warrior jumped and broke through the wooden roof of the inn where a considerable number of black clad thieves pounced on him. The ninja leaped and flipped over so that he could kick each of his enemy in the face, his feet a moving blur.
It mattered not how many foes he faced; they were no match for his bodacity.
An entire wave constituting of an assortment of enemies towered above and came straight for him like demons falling out of the sky. He faced them head on, never wavering. Light shot out from his entire body as he broke through the dark barrier.
