The two guardian brothers usually were at the tree of feelings as the positive one had alot of attention leaving the other not. Though the negative one never minded it since he could fight off any of those brats aka bullies that he had... The negative one started feeling jealously towards his brother... The negative wanted to feel what Dream is in right now..
{ Nightmare's POV }
I sighed as i was sitting beside the tree staring at the sky.. Another day,another bruise... Well atleast those 3 pile of garbage weren't that stupid when i landed a kick on their leader. I kept staring at the sky before glancing at my brother... Dream... The one who's very popular... Heh... "I guess being a big brother really has a sad truth huh...? Why can't i just have atleast some credit for it..." I mumbled to myself as i look away and probably start to write stuff again... Why does everyone not know about balance... Without me positivity wouldn't be existed right now..
{ Dream's POV }
I glanced at Nightmare who was not looking at me... It's not fair... Nightmare should get attention too.. It's just not fair.. Just because he's the guardian of negativity doesn't mean he is evil! I despise the fact i'm more popular... I sighed before continuing my thing until i returned to the tree and witnessed the sky turning black.. I had shivers done my spine for a bit before heading to find my brother. "Night..?" I said before seeing an octopus..? I looked at the ground and saw my brother's crown.. "D-Did you kill my brother?!" I screamed pointing at the octopus.. "Uh... No?" The octopus said.. "W-Who are you then?!" I yelled "I'm Nightmare.." The octopus said back as i couldn't speak... Nightmare..? I...This isn't like other timelines... Wait did he corrupt all the apples?! I stood up and looked ul at the tree shocked that they were all black apples and that the only golden apple was 1... I then glanced at my brother...
{ Nightmare's POV }
Dream couldn't recognize me huh..? I just wanted to feel what Dream felt like but... I now became this...There's no turning back... I just wanted to be like my brother... I suddenly dashed at my brother raising a tentacle as Dream noticed and dodged as he keeps looking at the tree.. I then saw a RESET button as Dream was close to it. Dream then suddenly walked to the button as i trembled... No...But i thought this AU can't reset... "WAIT NO-" I screamed but... It was too late....
{ R!Dream's POV }
I awoken as i rubbed my eyesockets... I did it... I resetted!! I always knew i was smart. I then looked down at my clothes gasping.. W-What happened to my clothes?! It's all different... I gulped as i stood up trying to find my brother but i couldn't find him.. W-Where is he..? I want Night... I want my brother here... Where is he.... I-I.... WHERE IS NIGHT?! I thought as i dropped on the ground having a panic attack.. After a while i calmed down but still was wondering with Night was... I sighed as i just procceeded to take a short nap...
