Rise and shine.
Everything's good.
I'll just jog around the subdivision because I need to exercise. After a few rounds, hingal akong umuwi habang nagpupunas ng pawis.
Ngayon? Nagmamadali ba siya? I mean, okay lang. It's favorable for me dahil 'pag nakapag-usap kami ngayon, maaaring maaga namin matapos ang business. If that happens, makakabalik din kami kaagad sa Singapore. But what's with the rush? The day after tomorrow pa talaga ang schedule namin. Oh, I'll just call and ask her then.
"Sige po. Salamat, Nay. I see until now she's not a morning person, huh. I can also sense that her sleeping schedule is still a mess. Gising ng gabi hanggang madaling araw tapos tulog ng umaga. Ganito ba talaga sa law school? Night shift ang peg? Anyway, I need to call Ethel.
Me:
Ethel, good morning. Can I call?Ethel:
Hey, sure. I'll wait.
I tapped the call button and waited for her to answer.
Bakit? Do you have other appointments?" nagtatakang tanong ko sa kanya.
"Oh, yes. I'm sorry, Keesh. Napaaga kasi ang pag-uwi nila Mom at Dad, kaya nag-aaya silang umuwi sa probinsya. Alam mo naman, they love the province and I cannot say no. So, I'm really sorry. Was I too rush? "No need. I can meet you today. Saan ba? What time?"
"How about let's meet after lunch at SM BF?"
"Yeah, sure. See you later!" we said our goodbyes before she hung up. SM BF? Not bad dahil malapit lang iyon dito. For now, I'll take a shower and eat breakfast. Is he doing fine?
Oops. Ano ba, Akeesha. Stop thinking about him. Stop getting false hopes. For sure, he moved on. He's busy. He has dreams to fulfill. Focus on your main reason kung bakit andito ka sa Pilipinas. Whatever you had with him ended a long time ago. Tama na 'yon. Past is past. Mahirap buuin ulit ang minsan ng nawasak. But I can't help it.
Habang naliligo ako, he keeps on appearing in my mind. There's nothing wrong with wanting a closure, diba? Lalo na't kasalanan ko naman lahat. But how? Wala ngang communication 'eh. Should I ask Liah about it?
