It was the next day at the café and Harry walked in to be greeted by a laughing Louis talking animatedly to a red-haired lad working beside him. He walked towards them tentatively not sure if he should disturb them or not.

Louis finally noticed him awkwardly standing by the counter and immediately smiled brightly, motioning for him to come over. Harry smiled back quite confused at the new face as he walked over closer.

"Curly! Meet my friend Ashton, he just joined the Beachwood team this week." Louis introduced each other laughing as Ashton leaned over to sling an arm around his shoulder.

"Ahh, so your Harry." Ashton grinned watching the timid boy closely. "Heard tons about you and I mean it when I say tons. I'm Ashton, Louis' partner in crime and trusty advisor."

"Hey, not true!" Zayn yelled out from behind in the kitchen. "Get your facts straight, geez."

"I'd say trusty advisor, yeah." Louis grinned already working on Harry's coffee. "Don't ya worry Zen, you'll always be my partner in crime!"

"Hi." Harry managed to squeak out, smiling softly. " 'm Harry, Lou's usual customer."

"Customer? What do-"

"Lou?" Louis grinned tilting his head to the side mockingly as he kicked Ashton right at the shin to keep him shut. "Did you just give me a nickname Harold?"

"Um, I- yeah.." Harry mumbled shyly cheeks flaring up as he stood his ground. Right, he's done being the shy boy here he's had enough of it. No more stutters or blushing-

"Awe, babe," Louis smirked pulling the poor blushing boy into a quick hug. "I like it."

"T-that's nice." Harry squeaked out, awkwardly patting his back before letting go slowly. Babe, Louis just called him babe. And hugged him.

Just one conversation, was it too much to ask?

But well, what was he supposed to do? Its Louis for heavens sake! He was perfect in every way possible from his deep blue eyes and cute-button nose to his sunshine smile that swept him off his feet every day he came to visit. Harry was glad he'd ever decided to step foot into Beachwood or else he would have never fallen for him-literally- that day he moved to the neighborhood. So, so glad.

He was pulled out of his trance at the loud chuckles he heard from beside him, moving to see two girls giggling widely at them. Louis only shrugged content with staring into his eyes for as long as he could.

"Alright, that's enough now, break it up lads." Ashton joked watching the two lost in their own world. "We've got more customers to tend to today."

Louis shook his head softly handing over Harry's drink with a sweet smile. Harry only about managed to give him a small awkward wave before quickly placing the money on the counter-top and moving to get out. Louis stopped him before he could, tugging his hand towards him.

"Want to have a cuppa with me here sometime?" Louis asked suddenly shy and flustered. Harry's eyes widened at the question blushing for what felt like the millionth time that day. He did not-

"uh, I mean-y-yeah sure I-I'd like th-that y-yeah." Harry stammered out unable to stop the silly grin that took up his face. "R-really? You want to talk with m-me?"

"Of course Harry." Louis grinned wide tightly holding onto his hand. Not that he minded of course. "I guess it's too early to call it a date?"

"Yeah...um- as friends?" Harry smiled internally doing a happy dance. Soon!

"For now." Harry couldn't stop the swoop in his tummy at his words getting extremely flustered. How could he not?

"Is Sunday afternoon alright with you?" Louis asked back to his loud cheeky self. Harry nodded quickly not trusting himself to speak. "Alright, meet me here at two?"

He nodded again jumping with excitement. Louis moved to give him a swift kiss on his hand admiring the ochre colored nail polish as he did. He proceeded to give him a small unnoticeable wink and he could have sworn he'd died a bit inside. But it all ended too soon as Harry remembered his morning classes and hurried to get out quite disappointed. "I have to go-class-"

"See you then, Lou." And with a last glance at the perfect cerulean eyes, Harry ran out with a spring in his step wide grin now permanently plastered on his face.

His day was going perfectly and nobody could say otherwise.
