Cassandra bumps into someone as she was looking for the train. She had lost the Weasleys and her two other friends already.
"Hey, Cassandra." Cedric said.
"Oh my goodness, I've got to stop bumping into you." Cassandra said.
"Oh, it's alright." Cedric replied. "Don't be a stranger this year, okay?"
"Yeah, I won't. I'll see you after dinner." Cassandra answered.
"Good."
Cassandra had a smile on her face. She was starting to like Cedric Diggory. Cedric was a good guy. Cassandra always valued kindness. And Cedric Diggory was kind. She set her trunk down and took Fluffy out of his cat carrier.
Cassandra boarded the train and went to go find her friends. She looked at every compartment until she found the one they were in.
"Finally." Cassandra muttered. She placed Fluffy on the seat next to Hermione. "How come you guys chose the farthest possible compartment to ride in?"
"Sorry, Cassie." Ron said. "We didn't know what entrance you went through so we chose the closest one to us at the time."
"Who do you think is going to be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher?" Hermione asked.
"He's one of the greatest Aurors of all time." Cassandra replied. "I think he's brilliant."
"Have you met him?" Harry wondered.
"Yeah, I have. He's very smart and talented. He's definitely going to be a great teacher."
"Let's hope he sticks around then." Harry stated.
"He can't." Cassandra said.
"What do you mean he can't?" Harry asked.
"Voldemort cursed the job." Cassandra explained. "No teacher can stay more than a school year."
"Wow, I didn't know that." Harry said.
"Not many people do." Cassandra replied. "Also, Harry, I need to talk to you later. It's about you know what."
Cassandra and Harry had been having the same dreams. She had one last night that was different from the rest. It was a very scary one and it made her worry.
