Chapter 5-

Endra’s POV:

As I walked outside I happily saw people on their space zoomers (or a motorcycle, or whatever you humans call it) greeting me as they sped by. A loud pop came out of no where. I looked walked towards the back garden and saw nobody there. I looked around and their standing was Val. Great, the first person to greet me is him..I put on a forced smile . He’s was holding balloons and a popper. So that thingy must’ve made a sound.

“Hey, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”

A hug formed around my skinny body and I stood there flustered.

My mouth was in a thin line and I murmured, not to sound pissed off or anything,

“uh.h.uh..Hi, Val. What made you come early. I’m not usually greeted by you first thing in the morning..heh..”

I lied.

He always smiles at me with his gleaming teeth in the morning and says hi before anyone else or my BEST friend could say hi. About people shipping us, I just began to realise it. WAS I ALWAYS THIS STUPID? Gosh… It’s because he’s a stalker. HE’S SO DESPERATE!

“Aw, don’t be like that. You know I will always be the first person to greet you in the morning, right?”

His deep blue eyes stared at me as I gawked.

“Uh yeah, well the party doesn’t start till’ 11, so why did you come? And thanks for the balloons?”

“Aha, It’s alright. Yeah and I know. I wanted to be the first person to greet you!”

“oh okay. Well thanks but you should come later that way I CAN be greeted by other guests as well. No offense..”

“none taken”

I could feel the hurt in his eyes.

“Well I’ll see you tonight..”

Tonight.. They way he said was sleezy. It was uncomfortable. It was everything beyond uncomfortable!

“Okay! Remember dress code is fluorescent!”

I walked slowly into the house not wanting to meet his face again.

“Bye Endra… ”

Since the morning it has been 13 hours. It’s currently 10 pm and I’m checking that the lights and disco are working, my makeup, hair and dress is perfect, the entry is standing out and that the protection shield over my house is turned on. Phew, everything done...Astra is beside me and was with me since the morning after val greeted me. We talked about the party and the incident with Val this morning . Typical girl stuff but we were also talking about our projects.

Our DJ arrived at 10:45 pm and he started testing out his songs and blasting the music high. As guests arrived they immediately made their way to the dance floor. Around 300 guests attended, each wearing their own unique style while complimenting others.

As the DJ and song came to a halt the birthday cake came out and I was right over it ready to blow out the candles. Everyone cheered on and sang the song “happy birthday” but then a dysfunctional sound came from the house and all I could see was people screaming in terror and trying to escape the place. Everything was falling down, the whole planet of zero was falling down. I stood there in shock until Astra took my hand and told me to run. I ran as fast as I could not wanting to look back because I knew everything behind me would be gone. Deleted forever…
