Taehyung POV

I had about half an hour before my next performance so I thought I would eat a light snack and get hydrated. When I was done getting ready I headed to the door. As soon as the door opened I was taken aback by a loud slap thrown across my face.

"Honey!"

"How dare you hurt my daughter like that and act like nothing happened! She loved you!"

Y/n's parents had been waiting outside of my dressing room waiting for me to come out, and her mom landed a hard slap to my face. I held my cheek, hiding the pain I was feeling. I closed my eyes, feeling my heart beating fast and trying my hardest not to get mad.

"How could you do this to her?!" her mom asked again after I wasn't saying anything. "You're not even man enough to admit how much you broke her heart!"

She grabbed me by the collar and started pushing me around, and I let her. I deserved everything I had coming my way. I became stiff like a rag doll as she pushed me around, until her husband had to stop her.

"Come on, honey. It's not worth it. Let's go find y/n." her dad glared at me before putting his arm around his wife and walking away.

Nam Sung apologized profusely to them and walked with them to their car. At that moment, Namjoon came in and noticed the redness of my face.

He quickly came up to me and put his hand on my cheek. "What happened?"

I looked down, feeling ashamed. "It doesn't matter, I deserved it."

"What are you talking about?"

I pulled Namjoon into my dressing room alone and told him everything. I told him about the sasaeng fans that threatened to hurt y/n if I didn't do anything about it. I only thought the only solution I could do was act cold to her so we would eventually break up. I had to do it in a way that would hurt her, and in the process it hurt me.

"She left," I said when I finished. "Her parents saw everything and they weren't too happy about it," I referred to my cheek.

Namjoon sighed. "Are you okay? This was kind of bad timing to do this, in the middle of the concert."

"There was never going to be a good time to do this. Those girls are right though."

"What girls?"

"The sasaeng fans. I do belong to ARMY. I shouldn't have done something that could jeopardize the group and our relationship with our fans."

"I'm going to say something and I hope you don't take offense to this," he said and I nodded. "You're fucking stupid."

My eyes widened. "What?"

He got up and stood in front of me. "We all knew what we were getting into, we knew the consequences that could have happened. If we had to end things, we were all prepared to do so. But you and y/n got so close and fell in love, and we were treading on water to see how this turns out. But why didn't you just tell her this? I'm sure there could have been something else we could work out. We could have told Nam Sung. We could have told Bang PD. We could have gotten her more security."

I groaned and leaned over covering my face. "Hyung...it's already done."

"Do you want it to be done?"

I shook my head through my hands and looked up. "I love her, hyung."

"Then you need to tell her."

"How? She's gone. And it's not like I can leave the concert."

"You can try call her after all of this. We have the weekend to relax and maybe you'll get a chance to see her. Or you can try and talk to her when we get back to Korea."
