                                     ...

It was the final day at the Weasley's before Alice and her friends hopped on the Hogwarts Express to begin their new adventure. The last few days had been pretty lazy and feel-good. Alice spent most of the time with her friends, Harry, Hermione and Ron. She had missed them so much that she didn't want to spend a second apart from them. Ever since their first year when she accidentally bumped into the wrong carriage consisting of the trio, they had been her closest friends she'd ever had.

Mrs Weasley and Ginny spent a lot of time cooking and playing cards, while Arthur was out working for the ministry. Percy, Arthur and Bill were no where to be seen, although she had never really talked to them at all since they were out doing their own thing most of the time. And the twins were being their usual selves by playing dumb little pranks and as they said, doing donuts around the house in the Anglia.

"What have I told you two about wrecking that car!!" Screams Molly from out the large window above the sink.
The boys however are yelling and cheering, windows down like a band of baboons.
"Yeahhhh! Whoooooo!" Fred exclaims while turning the wheel of the car.
"This was a great idea Freddie! Wicked!!" George says, his head out the window.
They finally stop, in front of the four who are sitting down on a bunch of beanbags eating Ron's flavoured beans.

"Okay, this one is either cat hair or green slurpee flavoured." Stated Harry to Alice, who was looking very worried.
"Oh come on. Fine, give me the bean."
Harry places the green and orange speckled bean into Alice's palm, she then tilted her head back and slapped her hand over her mouth. She than begins to chew very aggressively with a stern look on her face. There was a long silence.

"Green slurpee it is ha-ha!" She yells at them, each with a disappointed look on their faces.
Fred and George walk up to them, each huffing and puffing from yelling so much.
"How was the ride?" Hermione asked them in a happily sarcastic tone of manner.
"Brilliant." They said in unison, a huge smile on both their faces. Beads of sweat dripping from their foreheads and hair wet. Alice never realised how ultimately attractive they both were when like this.

Ginny skipped over to them, looking at her two brothers with a groan then turning to the others.

"We will be having a picnic on the table over there in a couple minutes, mother wanted me to let you know." She then skipped off.
"Thank god. I'm starving!" Fred says. The five of them started walking over to the table, Alice still standing stationary lost in her... thoughts. Fred stops and turns to her, he than yelled,
"You coming sweetheart? Or would you rather miss out on Mum's amazing cooking skills?"
"Oh! Sorry, coming!" She says back, catching up to them.

What a feast, Mrs Weasley had made up a roast, about 5 different soups, and of course there were some glorious deserts waiting to be eaten. As Alice sat down in the middle chair of the table, Fred and George both took a seat beside her. Fred was on her left, George on her right. Ron, Harry and Hermione were opposite them. As Arthur and Molly brought out the rest of the food, the rest of the group started feasting.

"Ooh you should try this one Ali," Fred says cheerfully, pouring her a huge bowl of Bacon and Pea soup.
"Oh, no really I'm fi-"
"No, we insist!" The twins say. Alice laughs and to not cause a scene, does what they say. Everyone is laughing and having a good time, eating the scrumptious food that has been made and exchanging memories from the last couple days. Molly stands up and taps her knife on her glass of champaign.

"Well, I just wanted to make a quick little thank you to our friends for making these times much more enjoyable." She stated, tilting her glass to Alice, Harry and Hermione. Ron rolled his eyes, knowing he was in the group but not appreciated.
"And of course my wonderful family." She smiles at everyone at the table. "I hope this year at Hogwarts brings you much hope for the future, and of course no doubt you will all have a tremendous time." She claps for herself as does everyone else.

"Wait..." Fred stops clapping and turns to his brother, leaning over Alice. "I didn't know there was champaign." George's eyes grow wider and they both nod their heads and snicker quietly.
"Oh my god, your mum gave such a nice speech and all you can think about is that there is champaign? You both are ridiculous." Alice rolls her eyes.
"Look, clearly you're upset because we realised before you." George smirked, sipping his soup. "If you're that needy we can just sneak you some tonight if you'd like?" Alice turns to Mrs Weasley who has sat down and was now talking to Harry and Hermione. She turned to them, grinned widely and nodded.

                                      ...

Everyone was finishing up and helping to clear the table. Alice took the glasses to the kitchen then headed up stairs to her room. She quickly changed into her light blue, silken pyjamas and sat on her bed, picking up a book and turning to the desired page. Suddenly she heard a knock at the door.

"Come in!" She called out, not taking her eyes off of her book. The two red headed boys skipped into her room. Fred was wearing his purple pyjama pants and no shirt. George was wearing some blue pants and a singlet. Alice was so caught off guard by Fred. He wasn't all muscle, but he definitely wasn't fat. He was lanky... just what she liked. After staring a second too long, she walked over to the door, and closed it.

"Well?" She asked. George pulled a half finished bottle of champaign from behind his back and Fred placed three glasses in front of them. George than began to pour them all a huge glass of champaign each.
"Wait... you guys were actually serious?" They both begin to chuckle and Fred shook his head in amusement.
"What? You didn't think we were serious?" He looked at her and grinned mischievously. George placed his glass up in the air and they all tinked glasses.
"Cheers." They chanted, and drank.
