Richako was sitting on her bed, listening to music, completely unaware of her surroundings. Or of the fact that it was her first day of school. That is, until she saw what her digital clock said. "I'm going to be late! And on my first day, too!" She groaned. She threw on her favorite grey jeans and her panda shirt, and ran out the door. It was cold and drizzly, and she wished she had thought to grab a jacket. As she ran along the uneven sidewalk, she prayed she would not only make it on time, but also that she wouldn't trip and break her ankles. She made it to school, and without hurting herself, besides the stitch in her side that was screaming in agony. She aproached the enormous school with caution. It was her first day.. What if she didn't like it? It wouldn't be like she could just drop out in the middle of the semester... As she was pondering other these thoughts, she caught a glimpse of a certain strawberry blonde. She did a double take. Lillian? Her old friend? No... It couldn't be. Lillian had moved when they were twelve. But she was right there. As soon as Richako went to take another look, however, Lillian was gone. Richako took a deep breath, and went inside. It was gorgeous in there. Marble tile, stainless lockers! The classrooms could pass as individual White House offices. She finally found her class after what felt like an eternity of searching, and plunked herself down at a deck in the back. She didn't bother to introduce herself. She knew no one would care about who she was, as long as she wasn't a suck up. Richako looked around at the students. They all seemed to be either absent, or late. It was going to be a long day...
