Not a writing update but can we pay attention to how Shawn Mendes in the music video of Wonder looks exactly like cardan. The entire theme of that vid is so similar to elfhame. There is even a scene where he is at a cliff which reminded me of that bonus chapter where cardan was peering at the undersea when Jude was kidnapped. I can totally imagine Cardan singing this, wondering what it would be like to loved by Jude.
