Based on the song Alamo by Alec Benjamin
(Yes I'm aware the Alamo is a very American thing, but the rest of the song fit so well I just decided not to care.)
Bolded italics in quotes are the lyrics!

"Please give me a reason to believe all the lies"
Tubbo stretched, letting out a small yawn before he remembered where he was. Sitting straight up in bed, he looked around, heart beating as he searched for Schlatt, or Quackity, or really anyone else who occupied "Manburg". Relieved to find no one, he laid back down, feeling the thudding of his heart slow down once again.
Being the 'spy on the inside' as Wilbur had said it, was not at all what he'd been expecting.
"'Cause my teachers and the media are ghouls in disguise"
He probably didn't need to be this careful. No one really seemed to suspect the boy of anything, especially not spying. However, it seemed everyone in Manburg was very aware of his (to their knowledge, former) friendship with Tommy, and would take any opportunity to try and convince him that his best friend wasn't who he appeared to be.
"Abusing their authority to proselytize"
Whenever they saw him they'd bombard him with 'facts', which always contained awful and horrendous information. Things like Tommy was burning down forests, or Pogtopia had was planning on blowing something up. One time they even claimed the other boy had killed one of Tubbo's precious bees, but one run to his home and a quick recounting proved that wrong.
Every time they attempted to convince him, however, he thought about all the things Tommy had done for him. Even the smallest things would help Tubbo plant his mind back in reality; the times his best friend had leant him gear, the few but meaningful times he'd given him a compliment.
Tubbo'd run and rerun those memories back through his mind. The happiness they gave him, paired with all the awful information he'd collected on Schlatt, would force him to remember who was on the right side of history.
"But nothing they report to me could change my mind"
All of a sudden the memories of what he'd learned yesterday flooded back into his mind. He jumped out of bed, remembering in explicit detail the plan Schlatt had shared with him. It was terrifying, and so unexpected Tubbo had originally thought the leader of Manburg was joking when he explained it.
He wasn't sure if he would be quick enough; he stupidly hadn't crafted a clock for his room, but he didn't care as he quickly got changed and ran out of the building, toward Pogtopia.
Because no matter how hard they tried to convince him otherwise,
He knew who he stood with.
----------------------------------------------------
"I'm not gonna give in, if I have to fight"
Tommy could see the tip of the arrow quiver as he tried to hold the bow taught. Next to him stood his oldest brother, Techno, who was training him for whatever was coming. Focusing on the white in the target ahead of him, he let a breath out slowly.
