Bad boy gone soft💚🐍 (Draco Malfoy X Y/N)

1 year later...

The Battle of Hogwarts was last year. Me and Draco are both turning 18 this year, its my 18th in 2 days, Dracos' is today, we were born very close together, i was in the kitchen with Narcissa, we were placing up banners and baking Dracos' cake, i said to Narcissa "I want today to be special, so ive told the house elf to only let in those on the guest list... i just hope no one tries to sneak in, i feel sick to my stomach thinking about it." Narcissa stopped what she was doing and came up to me and hugged me, she said in a calm voice "stop worrying, today will go perfect, all because of you Y/n" i heard a voice behind us say "I hope your not turning my girlfriend against me mother" and he laughed, it was Draco of course, me and Narcissa looked at each other and rolled our eyes at Draco, he came up to us and hugged us both "my two favourite ladies in the world" and he kissed me on the head and i smiled and said "why would she? she was just saying how im her favourite person Malfoy" and i cheekily grinned. The door bell rang, it was our first guest, i sent our elf grobby to open the door, it was Harry, Ginny, Hermoine and Ron, i looked at them all and pulled them in for a hug "Thank you for coming, for a second i thought no one would show up"  and they all looked at me and rolled their eyes "do you really think we would miss our best friends boyfriends' 18th? even if he is a git." they all said in unison, with Ron adding the last bit on. 

The party was in full swing and so me and Narcissa were ready to present Draco with his cake, we urged everyone to go into the dining hall and placed them all along the table, they all had their special seats, with their names on and everything. Me and Narcissa headed back to the kitchen and carefully brought out the cake "Happy birthday, darling" Narcissa said as we placed down his cake "Happy birthday, you git" i said as a joke. he looked at me and rolled his eyes, he grabbed my waist and pulled me in as he blew out his candles, he kissed me and said "Thank you for making this day perfect, there was something i was meaning to ask you Y/n..." i looked at him and said "whats up love?" he got up out of his chair and knelt down... he looked up at me and exposed a ring from his hands and he said "i know you don't have a last name anymore, so would you do me the honour of becoming Y/n Malfoy?" i looked at him and screamed "YES!!!" Everyone started clapping and Draco stood up and placed the ring on my finger, he gabbed my waist and pulled me in an kissed me, i looked up at him and said "so this is what it feels like to be engaged to Draco Malfoy, what did i have that made me stand out from other girls, like pansy?" he looked at me and said "you never fell to my feet like everyone else, you never took my bullying, you made me want you, i love you Mrs Malfoy." 

Its been 2 days since Draco proposed to me, its my 18th, Draco and Narcissa are preparing the mansion in preparation for my birthday. i was in the bedroom getting ready when i looked in the mirror and saw my fiance standing behind me, he walked up behind me and hugged me while snuggling his face into my neck "why hello Malfoy" i said as i chuckled, he looked at me in the mirror and said "I cant believe i will be marrying you soon, something i thought would never happen in my lifetime, you look gorgeous, Y/n Malfoy." i placed my hands on top of his and said "what did i ever do to deserve you?" he said "everything." and he spun me around and we shared a kiss, we heard the doorbell go and Draco said "Grobby can get it, spend some more time with me love" me and Draco had a snuggle before we both headed downstairs, all of our friends were there, and they all turned to me and said "Happy birthday, Y/n Malfoy!!" my eyes started tearing up and i felt Draco squeeze my shoulder, i thanked everyone and we all went into the dining hall, however it wasnt a dining hall anymore, it was a ballroom! Draco and his mother did it.

Me and Draco had the first dance and obviously i loved all of it. When the music came to a halt i looked at Draco and said "Thank you for making this the most perfect birthday ever, i couldn't think of anywhere else i would love to be, you've made my life complete, i cant wait to officially become Mrs Y/n Malfoy, i cant wait for us to have a family, i cant wait to see our children head off to Hogwarts, i cant wait to grow old with you, i love you." Draco looked at me and said "you have made me the happiest man in the whole world, dont ever leave me, you hear?" i looked at him and said "I would never leave you, i havent left you for this long so i wouldn't leave you now." We shared a kiss and enjoyed the rest of my birthday.
