"hi baby!" i said excitedly sitting next to my boyfriend of a year ron. today was our 1 year anniversary! "hey darling" he said kissing my cheek going back to reading his newspaper. my smile faded when the realization hit. he forgot. how could he forget? "are you forgetting something?" i asked trying to hint at something. "ummmm oh yea! how could i be so blind, i left my quill on my bed. thanks babe" he chuckled getting up to go get it.

"maybe hes just acting like he forgot?" hermione shrugged giving me a sympathetic smile. "yea possibly." I headed to my first class which i had with ron so this would be fun. i walked in being one of the firsts students there besides a few ravenclaws and hufflepuffs. i set my stuff down on my table getting out my textbook fliping to the page written on the board. "hey love" ron cooed wrapping his arm around my shoulder pecking my temple. i grabbed his arm taking it off of me. "whats wrong?" he asked. i ignored him as snape strutted in.

i saw ron looking at me worredly out of the corner of my eye. class went by quick considering today was just note taking. "y/n tell me whats wrong! did i say something?" ron asked as we left the class walking down the corridor. "no its what you didnt say you git" i said aparating to my next class. hopefully no one saw cause were not allowed to do that but i just couldnt stand hearing him be stupid.

it was lunch time so i met hermione in the hall and we started walking down to the great hall. "still hasnt said anything about it?" she asked turning into the great hall. "hey im just gonna skip lunch today is that ok?" i asked stopping before walking into the great hall. i saw ron and harry watching as we talked. ron gave me a look of worry and confusion. "you sure?" hermione asked putting a hand on my shoulder. "yea just tell harry i had homework to do" i said looking away from ron. she nodded heading into the great hall so i headed to the libaray for some alone time.

hermiones pov-

i hope shes ok, i know ron forgetting made her upset. it made me furious. how could he forget such an important day?! "hey hermione whats up with y/n? shes been ignoring me all day" ron asked as i sat down grabbing a plate. "oh idk maybe cuase you forgot how important today was!" i said glaring at rons still confused face. "what? what do you mean?" he was really getting on my nerves with his stupidity. "it was your 1 year!" i yelled making the students around us stair. rons eyes went wide in shock.

"bloody hell! how could i forget?! she probably thinks i dont care now! i have to go talk to her" he said standing up panicly. "you think?" i said angry it took him so long to realize. he ran out of the great hall towards the gryffindor common room. "what an idiot" i said taking a bite of my sandwich. harry laughed shaking his head.

y/n pov-

i sat in the library reading, i was less mad and more sad that he had forgotten. "y/n?" someone spoke from behind me. i knew that voice all to well. "what ron?" i asked annoyed i couldnt just be alone. "im so sorry i forgot about our 1 year, ive just been so worried about failing exams that i forgot. plz forgive me?" he ranted holding my small hands in his. i couldnt stay mad at that cute face. "its ok i understand" i said kissing his lips.

he wrapped his arms around my waste deepenning the kiss. i pulled away for air leaving our foreheads touching. "i love you, happy 1 year" he said kissing my neck. i chuckled wrapping my arms around his neck. "happy one year baby" i said pecking his jawline.
