*Emma's P.O.V.*
I looked over to my best friend, Deedee, as we were holding hands and crying in the airport together. We watched as the plane with our boyfriends of almost a year flew away for who knows how long. They were headed to Michigan together, with the rest of the hockey team, for some kind of required summer conditioning. I didn't know how or if I could survive without Parker. Truth be told, I was really really scared what I'd do without him. Deedee and Parker are my rocks, they keep me grounded, they're always there when I need someone to talk to... What now? What happens now that he's gone? What am I supposed to do? I felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest.
I felt like one of those Chinese tops, the kind where you wind it up, you put so much effort into it sitting up perfectly and making it make the most beautiful sound ever. You put all of this time and effort into something that just dies out in the end, you don't want it so stop but then again you knew all along it was going to stop anyways.
I thought back to the past year, to all of the things that had happened to Parker, Deedee, Kevin, and I. I thought back to our laughs and tears that we had shared. I thought back to the sleepovers and skype sessions, the "I love you"s and the "Just a little longer"s. I thought back to the nights us four did everything together, the nights Deedee and I spent together, and the nights Parker and I spent together.

Hey guys :) it's emma, Deedee and i talked and we think we're going to write this like we're looking back on all of the old memories, kinda like the whole book is a flashback. She'll write a chapter and then I'll write a chapter and we'll try to get chapters up pretty often so yeah :) have a good day, beautifuls!
