Hanna pov
I threw a piece of popcorn into my mouth, eyes focused on the huge screen in front of me. The movie had just ended, and I was watching the end credits. The lights came on again, and people began to leave the room. My dad turned to me.
"Ready to go to dinner?" He asked, checking the time on his watch. I looked at him in his jeans and shirt. He had really tried to make this a normal day out. Just him and me. He had invited my mum, but she had other things to do. Of course. They didn't get along too well, even though they tried for my sake.
"You don't have to, dad. The movie was expensive enough." I said, standing up and pulling the strap of my handbag over my head. My dad stood too, brushing the little popcorn pieces off his trousers.
"I have the money, Han. Plus, I want to do this. We don't get to spend enough time together, because we're always so busy. So today is our day, for us." He told me as we left the room. The bright lights hit us, and I about died. My dad caught my arm as I was about to fall back into the wall.
"Careful, Han. Don't want to go falling." He said, as I straightened myself up. I nodded, and he led me out to his car. We drove in silence to a small place just outside of town, where my father seemed to know quite a few of the workers.
"Tom! Right this way." Said a young looking man dressed like a waiter. He had floppy hair, and his nametag read Flynn. Flynn led us to a table in the back, in the quieter area. There were less people, and it was more peaceful. Me and my dad took a seat at the table, and Flynn walked away to sort things out.
I was about to browse the fancy menus when I felt my phone vibrate in my bag. I reached into it slyly, and without my father noticing, I read the text.
Em: I miss you, babe. Come home soon xxx
It made me smile, and I wanted to rush home and into her arms. She was such a cutie. But I had to stay for my father. He gave me a smile as he turned back to his menu.
After our meal, my father drove me home. At the door, I said goodbye, and then gave him a hug. I missed it when it was just us. Without Isabel and Kate.
I waved, and he drove away. I turned and opened the door, and walked inside. Waiting in my kitchen was none other than Emily, and she opened her arms. I didn't hesitate to run into them. I wrapped my legs around her waist, looking down at her. I then cupped her face in my hands and kissed her deeply. She responded with as much enthusiasm.
"I missed you." She mumbled as she lifted me on to the counter. Our foreheads pressed together, and her eyes gazed into mine.
"I"ve been gone for barely a day." I reasoned. I heard her adorable laugh, as her breath brushed against my lips.
"I know. But even when you're gone for a second, I miss you." She said, and I blushed.
"You're so cheesy." She glared at me before I kissed her, letting her know it was a joke. "I love your cheesiness. I love you." I said, and she blushed too.
"So....your mum is out and it's just us. No distractions. Nothing to do..." She trailed off seductively. Before I was aware of my actions, I had jumped down from the counter, and was leading her upstairs, running.
We got into my room, and I locked the door behind us. Just her and me. The way I loved it. Before I knew it, her lips were against mine...
