19 : ⚕️

Things started to change.

Forth buying a car.. I knew how he invested so much of his time and care for his bike. His pride was engraved in its every inch.

Forth reading some pamphlets.. He even rarely bring his assignments home but now, wherever he goes, he has a magazine or a reading material.. as expected.. it's about pregnancy and babies.

Forth asked me to teach him to do the laundry and cook basic meals. I'm not also into those things but since I'm really into cleaning and organizing so I can give some ideas to him how.

Forth started to ask few things about Kit.

I knew almost everything about him. But it's still awkward hearing Kit's name a lot from your boyfriend's mouth.

"Hello Pan, are you still with Kit? Don't you think it's too late?"

"....."

He's currently on the phone with Kit's girl friend.

"I see.. Uhm.. please tell me if there's anything.."

"....."

"I mean just-- just in case.. Also, can you ask him what he wants to eat?"

"....."

He didn't tell me he's planning to go to his family house tonight..

"Right.. Thanks Pan.."

He turned his attention to me as if asking for permission without uttering a word.

"Yes.. It's fine."

It's our second prenatal and my stomach was churning.. the difference, I can finally keep up with the doctor's terminologies and explanations.

So, that's how those piece of papers work.

"...Forth, are you ready?"

"Pardon?"

"I said you can try to see your baby now.."

"See?"

"Want to try the ultrasound.. we need to identify few things though the gender is not yet recognizable.."

"Yes! Please.. Yes.."

Am I sounding too eager? I already read about what to expect during ultrasound but of course.. it will tell me a lot about my baby.

"Good.. let's go to the next room."

We entered a room with the doctor gesturing Kit to settle on the bed.

"Kit, your shirt.."

Uhm..

After the Pool Party.. I never saw Kit's stomach again.

And I can't help but stare at it now.

"What are you doing.. I'm not showing yet.."
