It's Not Goodbye, It's BRB

Chapter 11

Everyone seemed to have pushed the incident from earlier to the back of their minds, I’d never felt such relief. All I really wanted to do was have a good time with my friends - I mean it’s not like I asked Finn to kiss me. The thing that really made me feel better was the fact that I was able to stop Jc from going after Finn, that would have been the worst thing ever. 

“Jc where’s my 5 bucks?” Trevor stuck his hand out and smiled with satisfaction as he waited for Jc to fish his wallet out of his pocket. 

“I honestly don’t know why you even made that bet with him Jc, you know you always scream like a little girl on the Tower of Terror” Connor laughed and patted Jc on the back.

“Yeah, but I thought maybe the whole year gap would change it” Jc got a little red and  shrugged, handing Trevor the money “I was obviously wrong haha”

“Guys…I am like so hungry, I think my stomach is going to eat itself” Kian looked at us as if he was about to cry 

“Yeah me too” Ricky laughed “let’s go eat” We began to walk off when I saw a familiar group of boys. I thought maybe if I just ignored them they wouldn’t see me - yeah that didn’t work .

“Oh hey Kian, Kaitlyn, and others” Alfie Deyes soon caught up with us “Where are you guys heading off to?”

“We’re gonna grab a bite, would you like to join us” Ricky said, obviously without thinking

“Yeah that’d be great” Alfie smiled “I’ll go get the other guys” 

As Alfie walked away Jc walked over to me and grabbed my hand “Ricky, what were you thinking doing that” I asked looking back at the british boys 

“I was just trying to be nice and anyway there will be so many of us together, Finn won’t try anything” 

I looked at Ricky in disbelief “Ricky, you do realize that Finn kissed me in front of Kian, knowing I had a boyfriend and that Kian is very close to my you know BOYFRIEND” I took my hands and waved them around Jc. 

“Ok ok, I’m sorry- but I can’t take it back now. We’ll all just make sure Finn stays away from you two.”

I sighed and grabbed Jc’s hand again walking towards the food area. 

After an extremely awkward lunch, me and Jc decided to take a walk while everyone was still sitting and chatting. Finn wouldn’t stop looking at me the whole time and it just really creeped me out, so I just had to get away for a second. I wanted to go by myself but Jc was worried Finn would find a way to me or something. 

“Jc, I do really appreciate the whole not going after Finn thing” I kissed him and sat down on the bench near us 

“Welcome babe. I just didn’t want you mad at me” he looked down and slightly laughed. 

“I wouldn’t have been mad at you, but I would have been upset with the situation. So I guess if you think about it, yeah I probably would have been mad at you.” I sighed and scooted myself closer to Jc’s side.

“You know, I’m really glad I was able to come back to California this year.”

“Why, it really isn’t as great as everyone thinks it is” I laughed 

“It is though - the weather is nice, my friends are here, and there is also this cute blue eyed girl that makes being in California the best thing ever” he looked up and smiled at me 

“Wow you are so cheesy” I lightly pushed him 

“Well you know, anything to get a kiss” he shrugged
