I wanna take some time to just say some statements. This book is a bunch of fun to make, I totally enjoy writing it, it's just, I'm kinda confused y'know haha, Book 1 has already like 30k+ reads, with just 31 chapters and 2 bonus chapters, and that's great and wonderful news for me. Well for this prequel book, this is already chapter 26, yet it has ten times smaller reads than Book 1. To be honest, it's kinda sad for me lol, many people came to read Book 1 and then finished or left without checking this one, maybe because they only came for MiChaeng? Idk? I guess this book doesn't get as much love because it's not MiChaeng? Or maybe it's not a ship story as a whole? Maybe even because this book's story is kinda boring compared to Book 1 lol. It's kind of a flop for me comparing to the amount of votes and reads Book 1 got, and to be honest I'm starting to lose motivation to continue this book, or even maybe this saga, but then I remember my other readers who have stayed with me from Book 1 until this book, and it melts my heart truthfully. The readers who read Book 1 and then continued to read this prequel book just showed me how invested they are in the Scarlet Saga, and because of that, I am sure I can continue doing it, because I write for my passion, story, and for my readers, so gomawo everyone. I have decided to carry on and continue this saga.

"Morning, little birds!" Soo Hye greeted enthusiastically as if she had just been paid with gold coins. Tae Han was behind his wife, chuckling at her excitement. Upon further notice, Soo Hye squinted her eyes looking at the couple, and then she hummed while smirking. "Ah, it seems that my husband and I have just interrupted your lovey-dovey session, eh?" she giggled mischievously, cupping her mouth.
"A-ah, it's not like tha-" Mi Na tried to explain her excuse.
"Jagi-yah, look at them cute lovebirds. Flying up in the sky together already at this young age." Soo Hye giggled, laying her head on Tae Han's shoulder. "Why can't we be like that, jagi-yah?" she pouted cutely.
"But we are already like that, honey." Tae Han chuckled, kissing her nose lovingly. Mi Na and Han Sou only looked at the married couple with quite jealous faces, proceeding to look at each other while giggling quietly. "Look, you're making them envy us, Soo Hye-ah."
"Alright alright, you two can teach us the ways of romance later." Mi Na sighed in defeat, earning little laughs from them. "But first, as you have promised, you will assist us in our quest, but I'm sure just the two of you won't be enough." she stated.
"What are you suggesting?" Tae Han furrowed his eyebrows. Hearing that, Soo Hye rolled her eyes and lightly smacked her husband's shoulder, causing him to wince while rubbing it. "Ow, what was that for? Did I miss something here?"
"Did you forget what she told us last night, jagi?" Soo Hye hummed in amusement and interest, walking closer to Mi Na and Han Sou. "You're saying that you need more people, aye?" she chuckled.
"Yes. Do you...do you have some people you know? Some friends who can help us?" Mi Na folded her arms, hoping that the answer was yes, and to her happiness, Soo Hye gave her a nod.
"Well, not entirely, but we do know some well-known names here, they were once famous and feared warriors with different stories and different wars. Lost the ones they loved dearly, now living in exile by themselves." Soo Hye explained, playing with the small knife she had always kept in her pocket. It's tiny, but it's sharp as hell.
