JENNIE'S POV
It was our last day before Chuseok, so all four of us decided to have a night out. I got ready before hailing a cab, and headed to a club we heard about from one of our classmates. When I got there, the music was blaring and the thump of the bass was reverberating throughout the whole place. The lights were flickering with the beat and the people on the dance floor were jumping in excitement. Upon checking my phone, I realized I had received a text from Chaeyoung stating where they were already seated so I went inside and soon spotted them. As I was making my way there, I found myself captivated by how Lisa looked, standing by our table. She looked stunning in her long-sleeved black dress and black knee-length, high-heeled boots. Before I reached the table, our eyes met, and for a moment she just stared at me. Then, a smile crept on her face as she waved me over.
"Hey J, you look fabulous!" Chaeyoung squealed when I got to our table. She got up and gave me a side hug.
"Yeah! Loving that dress on you," Jisoo agreed as she bobbed her head exaggeratedly. She leaned over the table and guided me to a twirl.
"Thanks, guys. You all look amazing, too."
"I'm gonna get us some drinks, do you guys want anything in particular?" Lisa asked, pointing to the crowded bar on the far end.
"Thanks, Just get a whole bottle of whatever to share," Jisoo answered.
Lisa proceeded to order and I sat directly in front of Jisoo and Chaeyoung.
"Congratulations again for passing the auditions!" Jisoo exclaimed as she clapped.
"Yeah, too bad it was a closed audition," Chaeyoung said. She leaned on the table and crossed her legs. "We would've totally gone there and supported you guys. We heard the choreography was something else."
Being in different clubs, the three of us always made it a point to be there whenever any of us had a competition or a performance that was open to the public. It always calmed me knowing they were in the crowd somewhere cheering me on.
"Thank you," I said sincerely with a smile. I leaned over to pat them on their heads before leaning back on my seat. "You wouldn't believe how talented the other groups were. I was seriously nervous the entire time. Good thing Lisa helped us out 'cause I don't know if we could have created a choreography of that caliber if it wasn't for her."
"Really? I never would have pegged her for a dancer let alone a choreographer." Jisoo's eyebrows knitted as if the notion was absurd. "Is Lisa a good dancer?"
I chuckled at her expression. "She's amazing. She not only has the talent but she also possesses remarkable skills." My mind went to the time I first saw Lisa dance and I had to duck my head to hide the blush creeping on my cheeks. The way she moved was on another level and it made her hotter than she already was.
"Damn," Jisoo said as she crossed her arms. "Now I want to watch her dance. I can't wait for your next performance."
"Oh my god, guys!" Chaeyoung leaned in and whispered loudly with her hand cupping the side of her lips. "Don't look now but there's a cute guy to my left who's been checking Jennie out and I think he's coming over."
"Me?" I snorted. "I doubt that. You guys look so much more amazing than me." I rolled my eyes in disbelief.
"I'm serious! I saw him—"
"Excuse me," a low voice said from beside us.
Our heads jerked to the source and we found a tall and lean guy with ruffled dark brown hair. He was staring straight at me with a boyish grin on his face. I immediately avoided his gaze and lowered my head. My hands started to fiddle on my clutch that I had placed on my lap.
