Finding The Truth

Prologue

February 21st 1996

"And it's a girl Mrs Messer" said the nurse that was in the delivery room. Natalie Jacobs Messer had made a terrible mistake, and couldn't bare living with her choice the rest of her life! "I dont want to see her" said Natalie "it would just make me want her, and I can't have her!" She had done it with her highschool sweetheart nine months before, and has regreted it ever since!

Two weeks later, she finds a, what seemed like at the time, perfect home for her child. The couple had been married two years, and were ready to start their family. "I havent exactly named her yet...and I'm sure you have tons of ideas, but this is going to be a closed adoption...which means no contact after today." Natalie said! She wanted the best life possible for her child, and she knew that the best...wasn't with her. "I only have one request, and that is that you give her the best life possible!" Natalie said, her voice cracking. The couple nodded, signed the adoption papers, and took the infant away! Natalie felt so relieved, she thought that it was over and that she and her husband Mike could go back to the way it was before! Little did she realize, all of this would come back to bite her in just a few short years...
