"I like it here" Penelope smiled, nodding her head in approval as we settled at our table in the corner of the restaurant.

It was very cozy and quiet. The walls were brown and the floor mahogany, reminded me of a few British and Irish restaurants. The tables were dark wood as well, and the whole place was illuminated by little golden chandeliers. Most of the tables weren't occupied and we sat as far away from people as possible just in case some recognized David or Jay.

David brought us here to dine before his show, since it was only seven in the evening and David's show was at ten. Besides we all were hungry like wolves. I had to remind myself to call dad and tell him that I'd be home late, so he doesn't think something bad happened to me.

"I've lived in New York for eleven years" Penelope said in awe. "But I have never been in here."

"That's because you're usually at the clubs" I reminded her.

"Ooh" Jay wriggled his eyebrows, causing David to snort.

"Not true" Penelope defended. "I dine in restaurants once a week"

"No," I protested. "You go to the same restaurant every single time, that french one."

"Fine," she raised he hands in surrender. "I jut trust the chef there. He's my mothers friend."

I chuckled. Yeah, right. She just didn't want to be seen in any other place but Daniel's, the most expensive restaurant in Manhattan. Penelope cared way too much about her reputation.

"So how did you guys find this place?" She asked, looking at Jay sitting at her side.

I loved how David and I were siting on the mini couch attached to the wall. Our legs awkwardly touched when one of us moved and it gave me tingles every time despite the fabric of our pants. I could also breath in David's scent, he smelled of a shaving gel and sandalwood. His smell is the most pleasant to my nostrils. Jay and Penelope were sitting on chairs at the opposite side of the table.

"A friends suggestion" David explained.

"Aha" Penelope mumbled, looking around once more.

We ate peacefully. No crazy fans or reporters. I actually pinned the place on my gps. We all ordered burgers which was incredibly delicious, all the while I had saliva pooling in my mouth even as I ate it. Then we ordered some coke and were very satisfied with our dinner. Although it wasn't my usual dinner which is consisting of non-fast food but the burger itself looked like a work of art. The meat dripped with cheese, vegetables and fries were stuffed in a chef-made bread.

Jay spoke of his career and I found out that he's actually twenty -not as old as I expected. Penelope was staring in admiration at him throughout the talk and David stayed silent this time. I glanced at him a few times aware he wasn't knowing.

"Are you coming to LA with us?" Jay asked as we finished our meal.

"Are we?" Penelope was dumbstruck, her eyes wide and her jaw hanging on the floor.

"You tell me" he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and she looked at me.

I shook my head, shrugging telling her I knew nothing about LA.

"The bastard told you nothing, didn't he?" He looked at David.

"I didn't" David agreed with a chuckle.

"Told us what?" I was beyond curious now.

"I was going to tell you now" David smirked. "We just thought maybe you girls could come with us to LA for a week-"

"Yes" Penelope nodded her head eagerly.

I laughed. "We need to think."

"Um-yeah" she bit her lip. After a pause she grinned again. "My answer is YES"

Jay threw his head back, laughing. "I like you" he told Penelope. She blushed in response.

"Are you coming?" David asked me. I could see hope in his eyes.

I looked at Penelope, she was pleading with puppy eyes. "Fine" I threw my hands in the air.

"Jeez! We're going to have so much fun." She squealed.

"I promise you that" Jay winked at her.

"I'm definitely coming back here" I told Penelope and she nodded in agreement.

"We are definitely coming back here" she corrected, pointing an index finger at me.

"Okay, okay" I laughed. "Chillax"

"Are you ready to go?" Jay asked as he approached us at the door. Him and David left to pay for the meals which really made me uncomfortable about that but they insisted.

"Yeah" Penelope and I said in unison.

Jay grinned. Finally David joined us and we were ready to go.

"Oh my God!" Some blonde woman uttered in surprise as we walked out of the restaurant, looking at us. "Dave is that you?"

"Ana" He said not half as happy as she was.

"I can't believe you actually took my advice" She grinned. "Did you enjoy your dinner?"

"Yeah" he rubbed the back of his neck.

So she was the friend who suggest him to come here.

"And Jay" she diverted her attention to Jay. "You're also here, I'm so glad to see you."

Ana was model looking like, tall, lean and beautiful. She was dressed in designer bright red dress pants, white blouse hanging loose on her and red point-toe heels. She had short curly blonde hair and piercing grey eyes, her plump lips colored red.

None of the boys seemed pleased to see her.

"We have to go, we're going to be late for the show Ann." Jay gave her an appologatic smile.

"Yeah" David agreed.

"Ah" Anna sighed. "I was going to your concert, anyway. I'll see you backstage, right?

"I guess so" David gave her a tight smile.

"Great" she squealed, throwing her arms all over David.

I felt a sting of jealous at the sight of them hugging. Mentally slapping myself I looked over at Penelope, who was looking like she was about to retch her meal, her nose wrinkled in disgust.

"Let's go" Jay said and took Penelope gently by the hand.

Both her and I looked shocked at his gesture.

"Did you miss me, babe?" Anna blushed at David.

Babe? Did she really call him babe? Jesus, Alex get a hold of yourself.

"We'll wait for you in the car" Jay called out from across the street where the limo was parked.

"Yeah, me too"

I hurriedly followed Penelope and Jay to the limo without a glance at David, not willing to be the third wheel. Matt, the driver opened the door for me and I clambered in. Penelope was seated with Jay this time on the very front seats, facing me. They were whispering something, then immediately looked up at me. Oh, I was the third wheel in any way. But the warmth of the car was worth it.

Looking out the window at David and Anna, I couldn't help but ask. "Who is she?"

"Dave's ex" Jay said.

"Oh" Again jealousy was eating me from the inside. In my mind I was comparing myself to Anna. She was incomparable thou, she had everything a man could wish for in a woman's beauty. "What happened?"

"She's a psychopathic bitch"

My eyes snapped at him in shock. "What do you mean?"

"You'll figure out" he promised with a smirk.

The door opened, letting the chill breeze of New York's evening in and David slid in. He took a seat next to me, his face instantly lit up. Giving me a breath taking half smile he ordered the driver to take us to Pacha.
