Seraphina wakes up with a feeling that it's going to be a lifechanging day. Artemis, her wolf is restless and excited for some reason, but Seraphina has no clue on why she's this restless.

Seraphina has a feeling it has to do with the fact that it's Ashton's birthday today and she was terrified of what it could mean.

                    ~ Seraphina's POV ~

                    Beep Beep

                    Beep Beep

I slam my fist against the snooze button as the alarm clock blares. It falls silent as my hand hits it and I slowly open my eyes, flinching as the sun shines brightly in my eyes.

Once I adjust to the brightness, I slowly slip out of bed. I unplug my phone off its charger to check my messages and emails. I reply to some of the emails and messages, before making my way into my walk-in wardrobe.

In the wardrobe, I pick out my outfit for the day, settling on a white crochet top, a pair of denim shorts and some black sandals. I pick the rest of my outfit and lay it on the ottoman in the centre of the room. I strip out of my clothes, putting on a bathrobe and head into the connected bathroom.

I turn the shower on, letting it run and heat up. While waiting, I head to the sink to get ready by brushing my teeth and washing my face. I flinch at the sight of my face and how bad it looks this morning. It still has signs of bruising as I have not completely healed from yesterday's beating.

Once ready, I remove my bathrobe and hang it on the hook before stepping into the shower. I enjoy the heat for a moment before I begin to scrub soap all over. Then, I pump some shampoo into my palm and scrub it into my hair.

Once I'm ready, I grab the towel hung on the railing. I dry myself before stepping out and putting on the bathrobe. I grab the hairdryer by the sink, before blow-drying my hair.

Once my hair's dry, I make my way back to the wardrobe to get ready for the day, putting my prepared outfit on. I then leave the wardrobe into the bedroom, where I sit at the vanity table. I turn on the curling iron and place it to the side to heat up. While waiting, I put some makeup. I decide on a natural look, nothing heavy but still enough to cover my bruises up.

My phone suddenly rings and Theo's face pops up on my screen, I smile to myself before picking it up, answering on video. As I answer, his face pops up smiling, which is quickly wiped off as soon as he noticed my face. I lean my phone standing against the mirror as I get ready. He frowns,

"Sera... What's going on?" He trails warily but anger hints in his voice.

"Nothing much, you?" I retort, avoiding the subject of my face as I apply some foundation on my face.

"Do not avoid the subject and deflect, what happened?"

"The usual, Ashton and his posse did their usual in school." He frowns harder, I can see the guilt in his face.
"DO NOT blame yourself Theo, you can't do anything about it and this will continue."

"Of course, I blame myself. I left you alone back at home and you got beat up?" He exclaims in disbelief.
