Despite K375B's arrival, Silas rejected any and all attempts of them fixing him. Deflated, Professor Harrow went to tell Silas' parents he was staying over at a friend's house.

Silas sat on the floor in the storage room, making no effort to talk to K375B, who was sat right next to him.

"Mr. Silas, we need to fix this issue", said Katie.

"Just leave it."

"I do not understand. Do you like being luminescent?"

"Yeah, it's a right laugh."

Katie furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"It's sarcasm."

Katie nodded.
"Oh, I see. Is there anything I can do to help you, Mr. Silas?"

"Can you make my family love me?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Forget it."

"Cat videos."

"Huh?"

"My database suggests watching cat videos as a way to make you happy. Would you like me to play some for you?", asked Katie.

Silas chuckled.
"No, thanks. You don't have to sit with me."

"Mr. Silas, I am programmed to serve the robotics club. I must do what I can to make you feel positive emotions", said Katie.

A small smile appeared on his face. "Those cat videos don't sound so bad."

Before Katie could access them, Silas' phone rang.
"Hello?"

"Silas, hi!"

"Maya? Why are you calling? How's the arm?"

"It's fine. I've got a cast on. Quinn told me what happened. Are you ok? Have they fixed it?"

"Uh, no... still bright."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Tell me everything. Maybe I can help."

"You don't have to."

"You can't walk around like a lightbulb! Look, I know we don't really hang out but I want to help."

"Y-You do?"

"Of course."

"You're the only one. Everyone else left."

"Oh. Well, don't take it to heart! Everyone's got things going on. When did the change start?"

"As soon as the power went out. Then I randomly got brighter as time went on", explained Silas.

"Ok... what happened before you got brighter? Maybe there's a link somewhere?"

"Uh, I don't know. The others were just arguing about other things."
