"I'm wine drunk"
Song: God is a woman by Arianna Grande

It was very rainy in Virginia as Massie was putting together bouquets for a wedding which was in a few days. That was her favorite thing. Weddings, the brunette had hoped she would have one of her own someday. Her day, while long, wasn't quite over yet. She had a few more wedding orders to fill and a personalized bouquet to do all before she closed her shop. It was just her today. Lydia called in sick. Leaving the woman to try and fill her spot. Massie did have a lot of workers and a lot of them were swamped doing other things. Hence why she was alone.

Garcia and Massie were talking more. She even gave her everyone else's numbers. JJ and Emily's and of course Derek's not that she wanted it. But Derek insisteda she had it.  She didn't give her Hotch's number; he was seeing someone and it would just be weird. Or Rossi's well because he didn't text that much. But she did however give her Spencer's the satchel guy. She asked his permission though just to make sure. Massie sent the first text they have been texting non stop for two weeks. Talking about anything and everything.

The blonde invited her to Rossi's for one of his many wine and pasta nights. She told Garcia she would try and make it. But the women said it was mandatory. Truth be told Massie liked being forced into going out. If no one would make her she would be a sad cat lady, with no friends who ends up getting eaten by her cats. That's not how she wanted her life to be. She decided to bring her fancy dress clothes to work and get dressed there. Garcia arranged for someone to pick the brunette up from her shop at seven thirty. It was currently five fifteen. She needed to finish the rest of the bouquets before getting dressed and starting on the last bit.

Building bouquets took work. It also took a lot of time, brides liked their flowers to be the perfect staple for their wedding. You needed steady hands careful not to bend wire where it shouldn't be bended  or mess up any of the flower petals. When she first started it took her three days to do one bouquet. But of course practice makes perfect and now it takes her an hour to thirty minutes to complete one bouquet. She finished tying the ribbon on the last bouquet before sticking them in a nice flower vase and placing them in the fridge.

She needed to get ready or she was gonna show up at Rossi's house in sweats and a Nirvana tee. Which she didn't think would be approved by the Italian. She took off her apron walking up the stairs to the break room. Massie sighed, taking a drink from her Starbucks that she had sitting on the counter. Before pulling out her makeup bag and a small hand mirror, the burnette decided on a smokey eye, and red lipstick to go with her black skin tight dress. It had a pencil skirt like bottom and a heart shaped bodice. Her hair would be pinned back into a nice tight updo with some bangs hanging down and stilettos heels to top it all off. She was dressing going all out for Rossi.

After changing into her outfit it was now six o'clock she had to start on the other bouquets fast seeing as the glue needed twenty four hours to dry.  There she stood clad in black from her head to her toe. She looked way too good to be working on flower bouquets. It was seven o'clock and she still wasn't done with the bouquets. The bell for the door rang indicating someone had come inside. She rounded the corner seeing a curious genius. He was admiring the rows of flowers.

She cleared her throat, catching the brainiac's attention. His eyes averted to her mouth gaped slightly. Eyes scamming every inch of her body. He was lost in thought.

"I need to finish making bouquets you're welcome to join if you want." Massie explains as Spencer clears his throat following behind her.  She arrived at her work station working on the other bouquets. Spencer was fascinated. There was a lot he knew but not a lot about this. He watched the brunette as she quickly but carefully pieced together each detail of the bouquets. Finishing one after the other.  It was late and with twenty minutes to spare she was finally done. She placed the last of the bouquets into the freezer.

The ride to Rossi's was nothing short of interesting. Spencer had found himself talking a lot, way more than he usually did. Maybe it was his nerves, but she was just a regular person. Why would he be nervous? The genius had realized he liked her also that he had seen her before. Watering the plants in the hallway. Checking her main in her crazy knee high socks and long tee shirts with very short shorts. She was what he called well Garcia explained a hallway fairy. She was different in her own special way.

Always humming or singing complimenting people everywhere she went. It was as if he knew her all long but the universe was making him see her. Truly see her. Massie Conners was the reason Reid did anything lately. The reason he laughed or talked or was awake. They would text at odd hours of the night but Spencer didn't mind. He barely got any sleep and sometimes it was because he talked to her. Massie whether  she knew it or not was Spencer's saving grace.

When they arrived at Rossi's, Spencer opened the door for her, the duo stepping inside the man's mansion. He smiled immediately giving the two a glass of wine the minute they stepped foot into the room.

"Massie you look amazing" Garcia sang, earning a chuckle from the lady. The two women hugged before Massie took off her jacket laying on the chair with the others.

As the night went on Spencer decided he would be the DD for the night so Massie could as happily plastered as she wanted. Currently charades were being played,  girls against guys. The guys were winning of course they had Reid on their team. The girls didn't care they were drunk and laughing every other sentence. Massie's laugh was amazing. Her entire body shook when she laughed. Her cheeks were red from the alcohol, her hair still perfectly intact, lipstick faded.

After more drinks and dinner Massie decided to call it a night. Dreading the goodbyes, if she could she would do this all night until the sun came up. The two walked to Spencer's car, Spencer helping Massie into the passenger seat. He buckled his seat belt starting the old rust bucket as the burnett's phone rang. She pulled it out of her clutch eyes immediately sobering up as she slid her thumb across the screen effortlessly.

"What happened?"

There was some silence before she replied

"Where are you? Molls tell me where you are?"

More silence

"I'm on my way. Go to my place, grab my taser and lock the door okay?" She explains hanging up.

She sighed running a finger through her hair. Spencer was curious as to what was going on. Massie frantically biting her finger nails. The car grew silent, the only sound was Massie's keypad. She was texting someone and fast. Spencer cleared his throat as the woman sighed.

"Anything I can help with?" He questioned this shocked him. When did he become so involved? So bold? Maybe it was the very glasses of wine coursing through his system or the very evident fact that something was seriously wrong and he wanted to help. Either way he needed to know what was going on.

Massie opens her mouth for a second then hesitates shaking her head.

"It's nothing I can't handle. I wouldn't want to bring you into this." She says biting at her nail.

There she was lying again risking it all again. She could've told Spencer what was happening. Maybe having someone there who was slightly sober or had a gun on them could help. Instead she was retreating. It was a long drive back from Rossi's and the minute they made it to their apartment complex, Massie dashed out of the car quickly. Forgetting her bag. Spencer tried to run after her. But she was way too fast and he figured she didn't want to be bothered.

He was right.
