Chapter 1
"Hey Jake!" I heard my best friend Tresselle call. I looked behind me and smiled. She was trying to get through the crowd of people to me. I laughed when she started getting violent. "Hey Tre." I said when she finally got to me. She gave me a big hug. "So how is your first day of high school going girlie?" She asked. I laughed. "It is ok. Not the best since u are the only friend I have. And the best friend I have." I added when she gave me an evil look. I smiled I put my arm through hers and we skipped to my house for lunch. I unlocked the door to my house to find my brother Max on the couch making out with his girlfriend. "Oh hey Jakayliee." He said after he was done. I smiled disgustedly at him then walked up to my room. Grabbing Tre's arm on the way. She kept gazing at him. You see my brother is a Junior in high school and Tre has a huge crush on him. I don't understand why but whatever. Tre is only 14 and my brother is 17. Well Tre and i's birthday is coming up. Our birthdays are on the same day. September 13th. So our birthday is in two weeks. Exactly. We will both be turning fifteen. Yay! I'm very excited. Well we walked up to my room with a couple sandwhiches and ate. We didn't say a word while we ate. We ate in silence. When she was done we went down stairs and ran to school. For 14 year old girls we ran really really fast. When we got to school we stopped in the parking lot. We weren't even breathing hard. We walked the rest of the way to the school building. I looked over at Tre who was looking at the ground. "What's wrong?" I asked her. She shook her head. "I know when something is wrong with u Tre. Ur my bestfriend." I said. She smiled up at me. "Well I just feel like something weird is going to happen tonight." She said. And right at that moment I walked into someone. Felt more like something. "Ooof." I fell backwards but I never made it to the pavement. I felt someones arms go around my waist. I opened my eyes and they found a really tall guy with shaggy blonde hair and dark green eyes. I hated him instantly because of the smirk he had on his face. I knew that smirk all too well. This guy was such a player.
