It's been a week since I decided to stay home. I have barely left my bed, only to use the bathroom and eat. My mom has been trying to get me out of the house but I just don't have the heart to do it.

Ever since Taehyung broke my heart, I haven't felt the same. Deciding to stay here instead of going back was a really hard decision. Just telling Amy about it broke both of our hearts.

"What do you mean you're not coming back?" Amy asked holding back her tears. "We need you, y/n. I need you."

I sniffled, looking out in the grass. I asked her to meet me in the park, the morning we're supposed to be going back to Korea.

"I don't know what came over Taehyung," I said. "One day we're in love and the next, he's just cold to me, like I don't matter anymore."

"Well let me talk to him! Maybe if you come back he'll give you a better explanation of why he was acting like this."

I shook my head. "It's too late, Amy. After I ran away from the concert I didn't know where to go. I felt so lost. That's when I realized that I shouldn't be moving. Whether Taehyung was stressed from the concert or something else was bothering him, it's the fact the he couldn't talk to me about it. Everyone told me to be cautious about what it would be like to secretly date an idol, and I see that now. If I were to move and he kept acting like this, I wouldn't be able to handle it."

Amy frowned. "There's nothing I can say to change your mind is there?"

I gave her a sad smile. "I'm really sorry, Amy." I then put my hand over her stomach. "Tell Jongin I'm sorry too. I know you were more at ease when you thought I would be around while you took care of your pregnancy. I hope you find an assistant that will take care your needs just as much as the guys."

Amy pulled me for a hug and sighed, letting a tear fall. "No one will ever compare to you, y/n."

I heard a light knock on my door and my mom slowly opened the door, peeking her head inside with a soft smile. "Honey, I made us some sandwiches."

I pulled the covers just below my eyes. "No thanks, mom."

Her smile faltered. "Okay, honey," she put my plate on top of my drawer next to the bed. "I'll leave it here if you get hungry."

"Okay, mom."

She closed the door and I pulled the covers over me, letting myself fall in my despaired dream state. My phone then went off indicating I got a message. It's been doing that for a week now, my phone has not stopped going off from getting a phone call or a message. It's been a mix of messages from Jongin, Amy, and the guys. The only person I actually reply to Amy, asking me how I'm doing. I tell her to relay any messages I have for Jongin if I have any. But the guys...I can't even think about trying to open a message from one of them. I'm sure it's about where I am, why I left, and what happened between me and Taehyung. Taehyung did this, so he can tell them what he did.

Another week has passed by and I am finally starting to get out of bed more often. My parents have been very patient with me, making minimal visits to my room and giving me the time I needed to start healing. Since I decided to stay here, I had to go to my university to pick up my books for the new semester.

I was getting ready for the day when I was getting a video call from Amy. I was hesitant to answer but I looked at the time, and I had about ten minutes before I had to go, so I answered.

"Hey, Am--" my heart dropped when the person I was looking at wasn't Amy. "Namjoon." I quietly said.

"Hey, y/n." He gave me a content smile. "I'm sure you weren't expecting me. You weren't answering any of our calls or messages and I knew you would answer if you thought it was Amy."

I slowly nodded my head and looked down. "Yeah."

"So...how are you?"

"Do you really want to know how I feel?"

"Of course I do. You left us without reason and we miss you."

I sighed. "I'm doing okay. I don't have a lot of time to talk, I'm getting my books for school."

He frowned. "So you're really not coming back?"

I shook my head. "I'm really not coming back."

"Has...has Taehyung tried to contact you?"

"No," I flatly said. "And even if he did it's not like I would answer, I don't even answer back to you guys."

"I really wish you did though. If you had looked at any of our messages then you would know."

"Know what?"

"Taehyung had a reason for what he did. He was being blackmailed."

I felt my body become heavy. "W-what do you mean he was blackmailed?"

Namjoon told me everything that Taehyung told him. The day before the concert, Taehyung ran into the sasaeng fans that he has had trouble with. They found out where I lived and threatened Taehyung that if he didn't break up with me, they would hurt me. The day they found out I wasn't coming back, everyone pestered Taehyung to tell them what happened. Once they found out everything, they tried everything they could to get in contact with me. Everyone tried to get in contact with me, except for one. The one person who caused all of this couldn't even contact me...Taehyung.

"So none of this is his fault, y/n." Namjoon said when he finished explaining. "He did it so he could protect you. He thought that this was the only way."

My heart was beating fast, and a lot of emotions going through me. Of all the reasons why Taehyung acted cold towards me, I never would have thought that this would be why.

"Then why didn't he tell me?"

"He thought it would be better to just end things with you."

I scoffed. "That's not his decision to make! If he had told me, I'm sure there was something else we could have done."

"Trust me, we all told him that. We got on him pretty hard when he told us everything. He feels really bad."

I looked down at my phone and noticed I had to go. "I'm sorry, Namjoon. But he didn't tell me anything and he hasn't done anything to try and fix things between us. I'm already getting settled with the idea that I'm staying here. Even if we could fix things, it won't be the same." I gave him a sad look. "Tell everyone I miss them and I'm sorry."

Namjoon nodded with a sad expression and I waved at him before ending the call.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I heard a knock on my door and my mom came in.

"Are you okay? I heard you talking to someone."

I sighed out and nodded my head giving her a slight smile. "Yeah. I was talking to Namjoon."

"Oh?" she closed the door and sat next to me. "Is everything okay?"

I didn't know. Could everything be okay after this? Now that I know the truth, my opinion on Taehyung has changed. I thought he was a rude jerk for breaking my heart. But now that I know he did this to protect me, I just feel confused. The only thing that stayed the same, is that I never stopped loving him. If I never hear from Taehyung, the only thing I can do right now is keep my head up and keep moving forward.

I sighed. "Yeah, mom." I looked at her and smiled. "Everything will be okay."
