Hey, Wattpaders! :) I'm Haidee Luoper Aseñero Salvejo and this book is all about the feature writing articles I have written. Some of here are the articles I have written when I join Journalism Contests.
If you wonder why I write, I only have a simple answer to that. I write, putting in mind that what I'm doing is for God Jehovah's glorification. (Revelation 4:11) Let's keep honoring the Almighty One through our talents! ^_______^
Well, here's one of the articles that I have written. This is the article that I won during the Regional Press Conference - Journalism 2013 at Pagadian City:

Being A Journalist Is An Unforgettable Experience
"Every child has the ability to write."
Our Heavenly Father designed us wonderfully. He endowed us a lot of talents. Singing and dancing are among them. But one stays different. It is our ability to write. Others don't like this talent, but we should be grateful that we are showered with this unique talent.
I was six years old when one of my favorite teachers offered me to join Journalism Sessions every Saturday afternoon. I love to write, and this encourage me to accept the wonderful privilege.
I was seven years old when I write a feature article for the first time. My coach love my writing and so with my handwriting. She then told me that it will be preserved for the school paper. Because of this, our school was eager to join the Journalism Contest in 2010 held in Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur. We are only three selected journalists that join. But sadly, none of us won.
"Practice makes perfect". I always put this quote in my mind. Until our school recieved a news of a new Journalism Contest. Even though we're not totally ready, we manage to join the contest. Unbelievable, we won 3rd place and 10th place. We are then qualified for the Regional Level in Pagadian City. But because we lack preparation, we didn't win.
Now, in this year 2013, unexpectedly, I won 1st place in the Feature Writing Contest in Molave, Zamboanga del Sur during the District Level. Then, I am qualified to the Division Level held in Tukuran. I won 2nd place there and is qualified for the Regional Level. And now, I'm here, writing.
One of my friends advised me not to be nervous. She then told me to remember that the thing I am doing now is for the glory of our God Jehovah Who has given me this talent. I should also be thankful to Him for giving me the opportunity to have this experience of writing. And most of all, I should use this talent to show my appreciation to the Designer of Humans, God our Father!
It's a very long journey to pursue this dream into reality, but sacrifices are all worth it. Truly, being a journalist is an unforgettable lifetime experience.

THAT'S ALL AND I WON! I WAS QUALIFIED TO THE NATIONAL LEVEL IN SUBIC. ^_______^
