We arrived at school. I keep noticing the fact that people look strange. I think I even saw someone with a lizard tail. Frida pointed to a wall with sheets on it. It had the lists of which kids go in which classes. It said that I was in a class with a teacher named Mr. Cobble.

"Oh yay!!" Said Frida excitingly, "We're in the same class!!" I looked at the list and she was right. She hugged me. I smiled at her and she smiled back. She stopped hugging me and said, "His class is this way!" She said pointing to a class not that far down the hall marked 'room 105'. We both walked down the hall.

When we arrived at the classroom I saw the person with a tail again. I just looked away and tried to forget about it. I sat down at a desk with a name tag labeled 'Sarah Paladin'. Frida sat right in front of me. I decided to look around. There were 19 students in total. And then someone else walked in. "Hey Jacklyn!" Said the kid with a tail.

Jacklyn seemed to be the name of the person that walked in. Jacklyn looked at me with a look. I immediately looked away. They walked up to me and said "You don't look normal." I looked at her sort of confused. "Please sit down Jacklyn." Said who I presumed to be the teacher.

Jacklyn went to her destination and sat down. I could've sworn I saw a horn under her hair. That's when I realised this was gonna be one weird school year. Someone with a tail, someone with horns, and someone with ab-normally sharp teeth. They were definately not human.

I started to realize weird things about the others too. But even though I couldn't see it of some people I kept my guard up.

-Time skip cause I'm lazy AF...-

Class's over and it's time for recess. "Hey, Mr. Cobble?" I said. "Yes Sarah?" He replied. "I have.. a question..." I said, "That might be offensive." "I'll try my best not to be offended." He said. "Wait might that question be?" "My question is..." I didn't know if I should ask now. But... I had to know.

"Are the... students here... all some sort of... creatures?" "Yes. Why do you a-ask..." said Mr. Cobble, "Ooh... are you not a creature." "No... no I am not." I replied. "I'm sorry if being around people that aren't the same species as you have made you unconfortable." "No... it's been fine." I said, "It's mostly just been... this one girl named Jacky..."
