His hands traveled up my hips, over the side of my breast, and finally, cupping my cheek in his hand. My eyes traveled to his lips, needing to feel them on mine, needing to know this was real.
His beautiful blue and gold eyes met mine as his lips slowly moved towards mine as I pressed my body against his.
The feel of him hovering over me made me want him more, made me want all of him. My hips pressed harder against his as he lowered himself closer towards me, his tongue exploring my mouth.
He slipped his hands to the hem of my shirt as he leaned back. He was about to take off my shirt when an alarming beeping sound was heard by me from the distance. It kept getting louder and louder. I looked around confused and looked back to him. His face, it was fading away and he was slipping from my touch. I tried to reach out but my hands went through him. No, he couldn't leave me, not now. Not when we were finally together. I started to scream trying to get out of this nightmare.

My eyes flew open as I abruptly stopped screaming. My breathing was heavy and my forehead slightly covered in sweat.
I reached under my pillow, grabbing my cell phone to check the time, 4:00Am. Great.
I rolled over trying to calm my breathing as every detail of the dream ran through my head. The feel of his skin on mine, the feel of his lips, it felt right. I sighed, shaking my head knowing it wasn't going to happen and closed my eyes, falling into a dreamless sleep.
