I was furious when my parents told me yet again we would be moving. I grew up in Phoenix Arizona and I moved every two to three years. I was sick of moving. I was a sophmore in high school and had barly any friends. My family and I were on our way to go look at two or three houses they chose from online. Both homes had come with land. I grew up in the city, do I seem like I want to go pretend and be some farm girl? Yeah, I don't think so.
Everyone is loaded in our eight seater suburban. It's big, white, ugly and always dirty. We got this beauty after my family and I got in an accident. We totalled our mini van. It was tan and amazing, it brought us every where and any where we needed to go. It made it through anything. My parents wanted to go for something a bit more bulkier just in case we ever got in another accident.
I guess since I've ranted enough about my life I can introduce myself. My name is Lila Ark. I come from a family of eight, six children and two parents(obviously). I have been to Seven different Schools and this is my second high school. If we move then I will be going to another one. I'm the only one in the house that really doesn't want to move. I just started at a new school that's pretty small and everyone has the same lunch. I know every one and I enjoy the small feeling it brings. We now are getting off the free way and it looks descent out here.
There is a Walmart on the right and some fast food places scattered down. My parents make a right and we drive kind of through a neighborhood looking area. They make a left and we pass some bars and men clubs. We keep driving and everything kind of dissappears. Then we hit a bridge and I see some building surrounded by nothing. We turn right at the roundabout and a safeway pop up. It looks sort of empty but there's a really nice residense club with a pool and some slides.
I love to swim and I absolutly love the summer time. I could imagine swimming there so that was a plus. We just kept driving straight through town out to the middle of no where. I couldn't see anything, no houses or anything. After what seemed like forever we came up to these two farm and made a right onto a dirt road. We hit the caddle guard and turned into a long road until we came across a house that looked like shit. It matched the dirt surrounding it. My parents asked "so what do you guys think?" I responded with "it looks like crap mom look around there's nothing out here! What do you think I think!?" she rolls her eyes and walked up the deck to start unlocking the door. The house was small and dark. It looked as if no one and I mean NO ONE had lived in it for years. I chose the room in the middle of them all just in case we got this house. That was the only room with cables so I could hook up a tv. I was extremly against the idea of moving. One more thing to mention about myself is, I am a hard ass. Completly blunt and I say what's on my mind. I love sarcasm and I can cut deep. I'm a great friend but I can make the worst enemy.
