“Mom I'm going swimming ” Abigail said as she was putting on her flip-flops and about to walk out the door. Usually her mom would've answered “Mom?” She said walking up the steps with fear rushing through her body. As she approached her moms room she thought “What if I see her lying in her floor in a pile of blood. ”
That made her HAVE to go in there. Her mother was no where to be seen. She almost walked into the bathroom before she heard her mother crying. “ Why does this have to be MY life??? My life. Its not fair to me.”
Abigail was wondering what she was talking about. She walked into her mother's bathroom. She was sitting on the floor with a knife in her hand. Before she could say anything she cut her wrist WAY too deep. ABBIGAIL didn't know what to think. “Call 911, Call 911” a voice in her head repeated. She reached in her pocket and dialed the number. “911, what is your emergency?” “ My mom cut her wrist, I think she cut too deep ” “OK I'll send an ambulance and if you want, you can stay on the line and I'll talk to you if you would like ” “OK thank you for everything just please
hurry ”
Everything happened so fast, actually too fast. Her mom was rushed into the ambulance. Unfortunately, they later told Abigail that she would have to go to a foster home because she had no family and her mother had not made it
